Casey huffed as she walked the halls of her new school. This was the 5th school she has been to in less than a year. Every time her secret gets out, she always has to move to a different state. She was hopping this time it would change. She stood by her locker, grabbing her books for her next class when the school's asshole, Josh Bordy, slammed her locker shut and laughed. "Hey, look guys! It's the new chick. How cute..She can't even stand up for herself in a place like this." He mocked her as his friends laughed from behind him. "Hmm...What could this be?" He asked, grabbed her journal that was on the floor. "H-hey, give it back!" Casey said, jumping up and trying to grab it out of his hands. "Nah, I'll just hold onto it for a while." Josh said with a smirk. Suddenly, Josh was slammed against a locker by none other than the school's badass herself, Jay Lyric. She growled at Josh, anger and irritation visible in her dark colored eyes. Josh flinched and laughed nervously. "Jay! There's my girl! I was wondering where you were, babe" he said, attempting to put his arm around Jay's shoulder. Jay gave him a coldhearted glare which caused him to look away, quickly pulling his arm away. "Don't call me babe, asshat." She said before grabbing the journal out of his hand and slapping him with it before handing it to Casey. Josh didn't want to get slapped again like he had been so many times before for being a complete dumbass, so he ran off down the hall. "Thanks. It's Jay, right?" Casey asked. Jay smiled and nodded. "And you're..Casey?" Jay asked. Casey smiled and nodded. Jay smiled back. "Awesome. Well, I better ditch this hell hole while it's still early. Here's my number... Call me sometime." She said before opening a random locker and pulling a piece of paper out of a notebook and grabbing a pen and handed Casey her number. Jay waved and smiled as she rushed out the school doors. Casey watched as Jay hopped over the fence and ran down the road. Casey blushed slightly while looking down at the number. She sighed as she put it in her pocket, wanting to keep it close to her as if it held a deep sentimental value to her,  and walked to her next class.
