Calix was standing on the edge of the roof near the edge of the building and he was staring off into the distance. The other students surrounding the area began to laugh and they were making fun of Calix and they were yelling nasty insults at him, like how he should just jump.
Calix heard the shouts and insults but he looked completely lifeless and he didn't notice you yet.
"Jump! Jump! Jump!"
some of the students began to shout.
I was feeling horrified at the sight of Calix standing there. On the edge while he looked down, my limbs were shaking as I yelled at Calix before I started running towards him.
"What are you doing?! Come back down."
Calix slowly looked over at me as I approached him. His eyes looked completely lifeless and his expression was completely blank and emotionless.
"I'm done."
he said as he turned back around to stare at the edge of the building again.
"No, no, no, Calix please come back down."
I kept on looking at Calix as I shook my head and tried to reach my hand towards him. To pull him down from there, but he pulled away from me.
"I said I'm done, don't bother."
he said as he closed his eyes as if he was waiting for the moment he would hit the ground.
The other students began to talk again and they began to laugh at Calix and started calling him names.
"Jump already, you pathetic bastard. I can't wait for this druggie to be gone." one of them shouted.
"No! Calix please don't do this, we'll get through this together, just please come down."
I started crying and sobbing hysterically while I fell down on my knees and I kept on looking at Calix. I was feeling hopeless but not as hopeless as Calix, and I desperately wanted him to come down from there.
Calix kept his eyes closed and his expression never changed as he continued to stare off into the void.
The students around me then started to laugh even more and they were even enjoying my cries and sobs.
"We are never going to get through anything." Calix said in a monotone voice that was completely emotionless.
I choked on my own tears as I sat up on my feet and I walked towards Calix as I pulled him away from the ledge making him fall on his ass on the rooftop and I looked down at him.
"What the fuck?!"
I kept on crying as I wrapped my arms around Calix as I held him tightly against my chest. He was safe in my arms.
Calix was now sitting on the rooftop floor and all the students laughed at him as they kept on taunting him.
"Oh look at her, she has turned her back on Zane because she found a new boy to play around with." one of them said as they laughed.
Another one started to shout out, "A real woman would stay by her man's side, even when he is at his worst and you're leaving him for another guy? You're a complete whore."
"Don't ever do anything like that again, you said you don't want me to cry at your funeral."
I ignored all the insults and taunts as I kept on hugging Calix as I sobbed before I wiped my tears and I looked at Calix.
Calix let me hug him and he didn't even try to resist or to shrug me off. He just sat there with those lifeless eyes as he looked at me and he also wiped away a few tears that were on his cheeks.
He then looked back ahead and he sighed before he spoke.
"You're the only one that truly understands me. You're the only one that has always been here for me. No matter what I've done, no matter what I've said... You've always been here to support me every step of the way."
"It's because I love you, you stupid moron."
Tears were still streaming down my cheeks as I smiled at Calix and kept on hugging Calix while running my fingers through his hair.
I finally admit it, I loved Calix Moore. Despite him being a complete jerk towards me sometimes
"I love you too, little weirdo."
Calix said and he laughed a little bit and he returned my smile with a small, sweet smile of his own.
He let out a few chuckles as he looked into my eyes.
"You know I really feel like I should be the one crying right now. I'm the one holding you, and you're the one comforting me." he said with a grin on his face.
"Did I pushed you away from the ledge too hard? Do you think your ass cheeks are bruised?"
I laughed as I wiped away my tears and I sniffled while I looked back at Calix and still sitting down on my knees while hugging him.
Calix started laughing as well when I asked him if his ass was bruised.
"A little bit, yeah... I'm definitely feeling a bit sore right now." he said with a chuckle and he also wiped away the small tear drops on his cheeks as well and he looked back at me
"You pushed me pretty hard." he said in a playful tone.
"Good, I always feel sore from you."
I laughed again as I sat up on my feet and I extended my hand towards Calix for him to sit up as well.
"Oh so now you're bragging about how much we do it?" Calix said with a laugh as he took my hand and he stood up.
When he was standing up again, the other students were still until they began to disappear since the ‘drama’ was over.
