Ash's pov:

"Hey" the new kid says next to me i'm about to say hi back just when Draco Malfoy decides to be jealous by picking me up and placing me on the other side as him.

"Real mature Draco" I say to him coldly glaring at him, he just smirks and starts talking to Mattheo and the rest of his friends.

I get up and leave and start fast walking to DADA and bu fast walking I mean sprinting down the halls, I turn round a corner and almost bump into Umbitch she shouts at me " DETENTION MISS SCAMMANDER"! In utter rage she storms off past me. Ugh I think to myself out of all the teachers I nearly run over the one that loathed my guts, not wanting to get more detentions I just lean against the wall and wait for Pansy.

Mattheo Riddles pov:

"Hey" I say to the red haired girl next to me she turns around and is about to say something but then the blondy next to her picks her up and puts her on the other side of him.

I hear her say real mature to him and looks at me then gets up and leaves the great hall, the boy next to her just smirks and turns to me "Im Draco Malfoy" he says to me " and thats Blaise, Theodore, and Lorenzo" he points to three other boys. "Nice to meet you guys" I say to them.

We all start talking about random stuff, then Draco gets up and leaves with two other boys that look like henchman, when he's out of airshot, Lorenzo says to me " you got Draco all ticked off when you spoke to Ash" he laughs. "Uh whos Ash"? I ask, they all stare at me like im stupid " Bro shes the hot red haired girl that was next to you" Theo says staring at me is shock I didnt guess who she was.

"What do you mean I ticked Draco off"? I ask confused out of my mind, Blaise just chuckles at me and leans in and says " Ash is Draco's ex they recently broke up and hes trying to convince her to be friends with benefits".

Time skip to DADA

Ashs pov

I run in panting, from waiting for Pansy but she never came to where we usually wait for each other. "Another detention for you miss Scamander" Umbridge says all sweetly I roll my eyes and sit at the closest desk to the back.

"Hi Ash" I hear the person says next to me, I turn around only to find myself sitting at the same desk as Mattheo Riddle " How do you know my name Riddle" I ask him in a annoyed tone, he just smirks and looks at me then looks at Lorenzo, I sigh and just say " of course he told Riddle".

Suddenly I hear a notification sound then music, I go wide eyed and realise its my phone call sound, so I try to quickly grab my phone from my bag but I couldnt find it ao I end uo emptying the contents on mg desk and finally see my phone. I look to see whos calling, I scoff and roll my eyes then ignore it. I look up to see Umbridge staring at me in a annoyed sort of face " im dissapointed to say another detention for you miss Scamander" she basically groaned at me.

I hear chuckling from Riddle, I give him a death glare and mouth shut up to him, he just smirks and starts drawing ir writing in his book I cant tell.

Once class finishes I start walking out with Pansy while I aggressively type to my old ex (the one who called you) to never call you ever again. "What do you have next" I hear Pansy ask me I put my phone in my bag and say rather proudly " I have quidditch practise next because coach wants ne to practise more ever since I was off last week for my arm injury, then I have 2 free periods, last period I have Potion's " She starts talking to me about how we should all hang out at hogsmeade with the boys in the weekend, but I just zone out thinking about Riddle 𝙽𝚘 𝙰𝚜𝚑 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍𝚗𝚝 𝚋𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚊𝚋𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚑𝚒𝚖.
