Practice at Tōō ended later than usual since the Winter Cup was going to start the next day. Tōō went over plans in the locker, though they had multiple advantages over Seirin, they would never underestimate the team. As their talk came to a close, a knock was heard on the door as well as Momoi saying there was a man named "Kuroo" looking for Sakurai. The team turned their attention to said boy who was thinking about why he was here. Tōō watched as Sakurai's eyes widened in realization and rapidly stuffed his things into his bag. With a loud apology to his team, he ran outside the locker room, Tōō following out of curiosity. They were met with Sakurai apologizing profusely at a black haired boy with a bad case of bed head; he also looked oddly amused. Imayoshi noted the boy's jacket and sweats: Nekoma Volleyball. He knew he was here for Sakurai but he couldn't place why. Imayoshi didn't think much of it since he could have just come to see Sakurai.
"I'M SORRY!" Sakurai was bowing repeatedly while the male tried to calm him down halfheartedly, "I'M SORRY FOR FORGETTING YOU WERE COMING! I'M SORRY FOR WORRYING YOU! I'M SORRY FOR EXIST-"
Before Sakurai could continue, the boy, Kuroo, kept the boy from bowing with a firm grip on his shoulders. And to the shock of spectators, he pulled the other close into a kiss. Some of the audience looked away and blushed at the show of PDA while others were bewildered.
Kuroo whispered something to Sakurai and wrapped an arm around the boy, which made him blush, before addressing everyone, "Kuroo Tetsurō at your service." Running his eyes over his lover's team and barked out a laugh at their flustered expressions aso Deciding to further introduce himself to the team, "I'm the third year captain on Nekoma's volleyball team. And if you didn't notice, I'm Ryō's boyfriend." He flashed a smirk towards whom he assumed was the captain when the latter sent him a calculating stare.
Upon seeing the newcomer's smirk, Imayoshi walked over to the couple and sent a welcoming smile, "Ah, it's pleasant to know that Sakura has someone like you to be his lover." He extended his hand for a handshake.
Kuroo let go of Sakurai and accepted the gesture with a smile, "Same here, it's nice to finally put a face to your name!"
Tōō looked on blankly at the two captains. "I'm not the only one who can see the sparks coming off them, right?" Susa asked no one in particular. Tōō nodded absentmindedly as they watched the captains passive aggressively interact.
Kuroo was the first to let go, swiftly lowering his hand to take Sakurai's. He tugged at Sakurai's hand as a motion to indicate that they were leaving, "We'll be off now, got plans, y'know!"
"Ah, don't stay out too late then," Imayoshi sighed.
Kuroo looked back for a second looking offended. Sakurai, slightly embarrassed from what happened, tugged at Kuroo's hand, "So what do you have planned?" Kuroo's attention returned to the male next to him as he grinned and rambled about what he had set up for them both.
Tōō, after they got over the shock, thought about how different their teammate and his lover were. They weren't in the position to judge but thought that it was good to have someone like that looking out for their teammate.
