Morning light crept through the window, casting a warm glow over the room.. A girl in her late 20s sleeping peacefully hugging her big stuff toy..Suddenly a high-pitched beep of the alarm close on her bedside table pierced the serenity... She stretched her hand out, blindly searching for the clock. As soon as she found it , she shut it off and sat up groggily, opening her eyes.. The bright morning sunlight on her face was enhancing her natural facial features even more.. 27-year-old  Adhya stood up from the bed, rubbing her eyes and stretching her arms above her head..

Her gaze wandered around the room until it landed on the photo frame beside her dressing table..She went towards it and held the photoframe in her hand.. It was a picture of her with her mother, who passed away in a tragic fire blast in a hospital 9 years ago, when Adhya was around 18, Aditri was around 17, and Srida was just 15.. She traced the face of her mother with fingers, trying to feel her presence around her..She wishpered with a cracked voice...

" Miss you, Maa.. "

And kept the frame in its place before rushing towards the washroom.. She got freshened up and dressed for her college and headed downstairs..

The dining area was filled with the aroma of her all time favorite Alu Ka Paratha, cooked by their masterchef Mita Aunty, the helping hand of their house

The dining area was filled with the aroma of her all time favorite Alu Ka Paratha, cooked by their masterchef Mita Aunty, the helping hand of their house.. Her sisters were on time and were already having breakfast with their dad and she was late as usual..

Suddenly a voice interrupted in between.

"There she is" Ahem spoke.

"Dhi, you are late again? Don't you think you're pretty enough to cut down some time from your beauty sleep?" Srida mocked

"Sri, don't!!!" Aditri said to stop her..

"Sri, why don't you just check on your diet rather than focus on my sleep schedule? I guess that would be really helpful to your health because mocking me doesn't have any benefit, does it?" Adhya replied to her sarcastically..
