The morning light filtered through the curtains of Radhika's bedroom, casting soft shadows across the floor. She sat at the edge of the bed, her hands resting in her lap, her mind numb from the events of the night before. The silence of the house was deafening, and for the first time, she felt the weight of being alone.

Arjun was gone—arrested and taken away by Sharma—and the house felt emptier than it ever had before. Radhika had imagined this moment many times, confronting Arjun, hearing the truth from his lips. But now that it had happened, the pain was almost unbearable.

She had loved him. She had trusted him. And he had destroyed everything they had built together.

Tears welled up in her eyes, and she quickly wiped them away. She couldn't fall apart now. There was still so much she didn't understand—so many unanswered questions about the conspiracy, about Arjun's true involvement. And even though she felt betrayed, she needed closure.

A knock at the door interrupted her thoughts, and she turned to see Inspector Sharma standing in the hallway. He had a tired look on his face, but there was a hint of resolve in his eyes.

"Radhika," he said softly, stepping into the room. "How are you holding up?"

Radhika swallowed hard, forcing herself to stand. "I don't know," she admitted, her voice shaky. "I feel... lost. Like everything I knew is gone."

Sharma nodded, his gaze steady. "I can only imagine how difficult this has been for you. But I need to talk to you about what happens next."

Radhika took a deep breath, trying to steel herself for whatever was coming. "What do you mean?"

"We've arrested Arjun, and he's already given us enough information to start breaking down the network of people involved in Vijay Malhotra's murder. But there are still loose ends," Sharma explained. "And we need your help to tie them up."

Radhika's brow furrowed in confusion. "What kind of help?"

Sharma hesitated for a moment, as if considering how much to tell her. "You know more than you realize, Radhika. You've been around these people—Megha, Arjun, and their associates. We need you to help us understand the connections, the meetings you might have witnessed, any small details that could help us bring the rest of them to justice."

Radhika felt a wave of nausea wash over her. The thought of delving deeper into the world that had already torn her life apart was almost unbearable. But she also knew that this was the only way to truly end it. To find justice, not only for herself but for everyone who had been caught in the web of lies.

"I don't know if I can do that," she whispered, her voice trembling.

Sharma's expression softened, and he took a step closer. "I know it's asking a lot. But you've come this far, Radhika. And you're stronger than you think. You've survived this nightmare, and now you have the chance to end it—for good."

Radhika stared at him for a long moment, the weight of his words sinking in. She had been through so much—seen so much—and yet, despite everything, she had survived. Megha was gone, Arjun was behind bars, but the people behind it all were still out there. And if she walked away now, she would never find the peace she so desperately needed.

"I'll help you," she said quietly, her voice steady. "I'll do whatever it takes."

Sharma nodded, a flicker of relief crossing his face. "Thank you, Radhika. We'll start today. We need to move quickly before anyone else gets spooked and disappears."

The next few days passed in a blur. Radhika worked closely with Sharma and his team, piecing together the final parts of the conspiracy that had led to Vijay Malhotra's death. She sat through hours of interviews, providing details about the meetings Arjun had attended, the people he had mentioned in passing, the subtle clues she had missed during her time with him.

It was exhausting, both physically and emotionally. Every piece of information she provided felt like another stab to the heart, another reminder of how deeply she had been betrayed. But with each passing day, Radhika began to feel a sense of purpose returning. She wasn't just a victim anymore. She was taking control of her life, helping to bring the people responsible to justice.

Sharma's investigation began to pick up speed. Arrests were made across the city—businessmen, politicians, and criminals who had been part of the shadowy network that had controlled so much behind the scenes. The web was finally unraveling, and with every arrest, Radhika felt a little lighter.

But the final piece of the puzzle still remained: Arjun.

Radhika hadn't seen him since the night of his arrest. Sharma had given her updates, telling her that Arjun was cooperating with the investigation, providing information in exchange for leniency. But Radhika knew that she needed to face him one last time. To hear the truth from him, to close the chapter on their life together.

The day finally came. Radhika stood outside the interrogation room, her heart racing as she prepared to step inside. Sharma had arranged for her to meet with Arjun privately, to give her the chance to ask the questions that still haunted her.

She took a deep breath, steadying herself before pushing open the door. Arjun sat at the table, his hands cuffed in front of him, his face pale and drawn. He looked up as she entered, his eyes filled with guilt and regret.

"Radha," he murmured, his voice broken. "I'm so sorry."

Radhika swallowed hard, her emotions swirling inside her. She didn't know what to say—didn't know if there were even words to express the depth of her pain.

"I don't understand," she said quietly, her voice trembling. "I don't understand how you could do this to me. To us."

Arjun looked down at his hands, his shoulders slumping in defeat. "I never wanted to hurt you," he whispered. "I thought... I thought I could protect you. I thought I could keep you safe from all of this."

Radhika's heart ached as she listened to him, but she couldn't let herself be swayed by his words. Not this time. "You lied to me," she said, her voice hardening. "You lied about everything."

Arjun's eyes filled with tears, and he shook his head. "I didn't know how to tell you the truth. I was in too deep, and by the time I realized what I'd done, it was too late. I wanted to fix it, Radha. I wanted to make it right, but I couldn't."

Radhika felt a tear slip down her cheek, and she quickly wiped it away. She had spent so much time trying to understand, trying to make sense of everything. But now, she realized that there was no understanding this kind of betrayal. There was only moving forward.

"I don't hate you," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "But I can't forgive you, either."

Arjun's face crumpled, and he nodded slowly. "I know," he murmured. "I know."

Radhika stood there for a long moment, staring at the man she had once loved, the man who had shattered her world. And then, without another word, she turned and walked out of the room, leaving him behind.
