"Will you please at least try to clean up after yourself?!" Sophie's voice rang from the washroom, laced with irritation.

I barely looked up from my homework, too engrossed in solving a particularly annoying math problem. "What are you even talking about? My desk is clean. Yours isn't."

"That's not what I'm talking about!" she yelled, her voice getting closer.

The door to the bathroom swung open, and Sophie came storming out, glaring at me like I'd committed a cardinal sin. She was holding up some used cotton pads and wrappers from skincare products. "If you're going to do your little skincare routine in the washroom, at least throw the waste away! This is disgusting!"

I blinked, trying to suppress a smile. "Those aren't mine."

She held the evidence closer to my face. "Don't even try it. Who else would use rose water face pads? You're the only one obsessed with that stuff!"

I shrugged, trying to hold in a laugh as she fumed. "I dunno...maybe the ghost of perfectly moisturized skin?"

Sophie rolled her eyes dramatically. "Ugh! You're impossible!" She tossed the cotton pads in the trash bin with an exasperated huff. "One of these days, Lena... one of these days."

I grinned. "You love me too much to murder me."

"Barely," she muttered, heading back into the washroom, still shaking her head.

When Sophie came out of the washroom, she tossed a sandwich onto my desk. "Here, I got you this since you didn't come for breakfast."

I glanced at it briefly, then shook my head. "I don't have an appetite right now," I muttered, shrugging as I returned to my work.

Sophie crossed her arms, leaning against the desk, watching me with a raised brow. "You know, if you acted this way in front of Zoe, maybe she'd treat me a little better. Considering even you have a screw loose."

I snorted. "I don't need Zoe seeing me like this. She'll start some dramatic intervention, probably with charts."

Sophie smirked, taking a seat on the bed. "And what's wrong with that? Maybe you need someone to intervene before you lose it completely."

I rolled my eyes. "I'm fine. I just need to finish this."

Sophie waved a hand dismissively. "Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, Miss 'No-Appetite.' Just don't come crying to me when you pass out from hunger later. I'm not dealing with that again."

I sighed, finally taking the sandwich. "Fine. But if I feel sick, you're to blame."

Sophie gave me a playful nudge. "Yeah, yeah. I'll take my chances."
