Episode 12: A Meeting of Hearts

The episode picks up where the previous one left off, with Namjoon and Jungkook leaving their house to meet the others at the café. The cool evening air does little to calm Namjoon’s racing thoughts, while Jungkook can’t stop thinking about Lisa. As they arrive, they’re greeted by the rest of the group, who have already gathered at their usual spot, talking and laughing.

Jimin: "Finally, you guys are here! Took you long enough."

The group is chatting, sharing stories about their day, but Taehyung remains unusually quiet, barely paying attention. His friends notice his distracted state.

Yoongi: "Hey, Taehyung, what’s up with you? You seem out of it."

Before Taehyung can respond, Namjoon smirks and speaks up. "Maybe he’s just missing his girlfriend."

The table falls silent. Taehyung’s face turns pale, and he starts trembling, clearly caught off guard.

Taehyung: "Who told you, hyung?" he stammers, his voice shaky.

Namjoon leans back, his expression serious now. "Your girlfriend. Jennie told me everything."

Taehyung looks at him, eyes wide with fear and confusion. "How did you meet her? What happened?"

Namjoon takes a deep breath and begins to explain everything he witnessed at home—their conversation about Jennie’s past, her fear of her father, and her reasons for keeping Taehyung in the dark. As Namjoon recounts Jennie’s story, Taehyung’s eyes well up with tears. He realizes that he hasn’t been the supportive boyfriend Jennie needed, and the weight of that guilt overwhelms him.

The group tries to comfort him, offering words of reassurance, but Taehyung is lost in his own thoughts. After a while, they decide to wrap up and leave. Just as they’re about to step out, they spot Jennie and Lisa walking toward the café.

Without thinking, Taehyung runs to Jennie and pulls her into a tight embrace. His emotions spill over as he confesses his guilt and promises her that he’ll protect her no matter what. Jennie is taken aback by his sudden display of emotion but holds him close, understanding the depth of his feelings.

Seeing them together, the other members give them some space. Jungkook, however, can’t take his eyes off Lisa. She’s dressed in a cute outfit, her beauty and innocence making Jungkook’s heart race even faster. Mustering up the courage, he approaches her.

Jungkook: "Hey, want to take a walk?"

Lisa smiles and nods, and they both head to a nearby park. They talk for hours, sharing stories and laughter under the dim glow of the park lights. Jungkook finds himself falling deeper for Lisa with every passing minute, mesmerized by her charm.

Meanwhile, the others return home, unaware that Jungkook and Lisa are still out. Namjoon, exhausted from the day’s events, throws himself onto his bed, his eyes heavy with sleep. Just as he’s about to drift off, a thought jolts him awake—Lisa isn’t home yet.

Worried, he heads downstairs to check if she’s returned. As he reaches the bottom of the stairs, he sees Lisa quietly entering the house. Namjoon lets out a sigh of relief, the tension easing from his shoulders. Knowing that Lisa is safe, he returns to his room, finally allowing himself to sleep.
