If Rheya were to describe Sathera, she would say that her companion was rather... Odd.
The Albino would stay silent and act cold and distant when there's another person in the room, but when it's just them, she would try to be friendly with the black haired female. Code word, try.
Just like now....
"So... I didn't get your name.." The blue eyed girl awkwardly started and Rheya quickly wrote down her reply.
-" It's Rheya. "
"I see..."
"... "
"..."
"Ya know, I'm not really good at starting a conversation so I hope you don't mind.." Sathera muttered sheepishly, she had her hand scratch her head in a shy matter.
- "It's okay, I'm not good at it too."
There was a pause between the two of them, Sathera then let out a sigh. It's gonna be a very long day..
She decided to take matters in her own hands, feeling as though she'd be rude to not talk to her new roommate, but then again, when did she care? "Since there's nothing to talk about, why don't we get to know each other? What'd ya say?"
The dark haired nodded In approval as she wrote something down. - "I'll go first, what's you're favorite color? "
"Well.. I really like red but I also like black.. Maybe both." She said unsurely. "Alright, my turn. What animal do you like?" Sathera crossed her arms as she fix herself on her own bed.
Immediately, Rheya's eyes shone with glee, having to speak about her favorite pet brought her joy even if it's only a little question. - "I love Cats! I once had a cat, his name is Ryvor, my bestfriend."
".. Once? Where is he now?" The white headed female asked, she took note on how her new roommate's eyes dulled when she asked her question.
- " A dog killed him. "
"RHEYA! YOU BRAT, GET YOUR STUPID ASS DOWN HERE!"
A furious voice of a woman shouted across the room. She did not see her daughter return last night from buying her said ingredients, and the woman only knew by last minute that they had nothing for dinner. So she made the decision to cook whatever Rheya brings home, but because the young girl didn't return, they ended up eating only bread and jam.. Not really suitable for a dinner but what can they do?
Rheya's mother; Daniella, uncaring for her daughter, did not even considered checking up on her child. She knew Rheya did not return last night, but instead of looking for her, she directly assumed that her daughter took the chance to run away and return later on when there's no one awake.
A mistake on her part.
"I swear, you are so in trouble young la-!" She aggressively opened her daughter's bedroom door only to see no one. The bedsheets looked clearly untouched, nothing seems to be out of place, not even the window.
"...Rheya? " she called out once again, and still, no response.
Which made her burst, not in tears but in anger.
"Oi, what's with all the commotion about, huh?!" Her Husband yelled, which added up to Daniella's frustration.
"You tell me, you good for nothing manwhore! Why isn't your daughter in her bedroom?!"
SLAP!
"Is that how you talk to your husband, huh?" With a menacing glare, the man took hold of Daniella's hair and dragged her to their shared room, for hell knows the reason.
A few minutes passed by, and the disgusting sounds of pained groaning and moaning filled the quiet atmosphere of the sad household.
In the near corridor of the house, stood a young man, a carbon copy of his father; Rion, smiling to himself.
"Ahh... What a lovely way to start my day."
"This family is the perfect dollhouse. "
