SUNNAH'S POV:
The sun sat on the horizon greeting me with its daily torture of another day with yet the same old cycle.
I blinked back my tiredness and peeled the covers of my shaky body. As I stood up, I peaked out my window. The outside layer of it was caked in soil and dirt and the once brand new shine of it was reduced to a sticky residue covering the top and bottom.
I rolled my eyes.
I need to get that cleaned.
I walked into my bathroom and stared at my reflection. My tan skin glowed in the yellow hued light. Dark circles were pasted beneath my brown eyes. A soft rose flush hung low on my cheeks and my thick, black hair was sprawled out in different directions. My lips were dry and my body was restless.
I rolled my eyes as I strolled over to my cupboard picking out a black, tight leotard, red joggers and a matching red zipper.
I shed my clothes and stepped into the shower turning the dial on.
The warm, steamy water cascaded down my back and heated my stiff muscles up calming me down. As water travelled through my hair, I tilted my head up to avoid getting droplets on my face.
I lathered shampoo and conditioner into my hair and reached out for my body scrub brush. I squeezed a generous dollop of it onto the brush and scrubbed my body thoroughly with it. I grabbed my razor and started shaving over lost strands of hair.
I turned the shower off and stepped out of it wrapping my luscious, long lucks in a towel. I dried my body down and put on a red lingerie set, while wiping the moisture and steam of my mirror.
I did my skincare, applying toners and creams and serums and face mists to my tanned skin. I started my makeup routine applying my flawless filter, concealer, bronzer, blush, powder, mascara, a rosey lip liner and a matte, nude lipstick in the centre.
Once I was satisfied, I put on my leotard clipping it on as it haulted above my thighs. I pulled up my joggers, enhancing the curves of my waist and put my arms through the sleeves of my zipper.
I carefully unwrapped the towel from my hair and blow dried it before straightening it.
I smiled at my reflection admiring my work before spraying my favourite fruity perfume and slipping on my trainers.
I grabbed my cream coloured hand bag while retrieving my white airpods and sliding them into my earsI opened my apartment door and stepped out closing the door behind me and wandering down the winding corridor. As I reached the outside of my apartment building, I slipped into my jet-black Mercedes and started the system, revving it up to heat up the engine.
I carefully drove out the parking lot and turned the wheel as I started driving towards my beauty salon.
I turned the corner and rows of different shops sat parallel from eachother. I continued down the road until I parked infront of my salon.
Pink, cursive letters sparkled above me.
The letters read out "Beauty Work" with golden swirls going up and down as if worshipping the font.
The inside was pitch black with a sign infront of it stating "closed".As I turned around to grab something from my car I could feed a cold gaze on my back leaving goosebumps in its wake.
I turned around and locked gazes with a tall figure.
My breath hitched.
His 6'6 length put my 5'8 height to shame. His tan, brown skin glowed with the foggy sky. His jet black, curly hair was let out loosely in waves.
But the thing that caught my stare was his eyes. Lush dark orbs stared back at me, his gaze darkening with every passing minute.
I felt stuck in a trance looking at this mysterious portrait of a man.
His lips curled into a smirk as he sent me a wink and turned his back to me before pushing his hood up and walking into the depths of the alleyway.
