Taehyung's warning came too late. A figure emerged from the darkness, its presence like a cold wind. Lyra gasped, her eyes wide with fear.
"It's Ryujin," she whispered.
Ryujin's eyes blazed with dark energy as he approached the Heartwood. "You fools," he spat. "You think you can stop me?"
Taehyung drew his sword, its blade shining with a faint, holy light. Y/N stood beside him, her magic at the ready.
"We won't let you harm the Heartwood," Taehyung vowed.
Ryujin sneered. "You're no match for my power."
With a wave of his hand, Ryujin summoned a dark vortex. Taehyung and Y/N leapt apart, avoiding the vortex's deadly pull. Lyra, however, was caught off guard.
"Lyra!" Y/N cried, rushing to her aid.
Taehyung charged forward, his sword flashing in the dim light. Ryujin countered with a blast of dark magic, but Taehyung dodged, his agility honed from years of battle.
The fight raged on, the cavern echoing with the clash of steel and magic. But Ryujin's power grew stronger, fueled by the Heartwood's energy.
"We need to end this," Taehyung shouted to Y/N. "Before he destroys everything."
Y/N nodded, her eyes blazing with determination.
Together, they launched a final, desperate attack.
