Spinning my beautifully dark blue and black office/gaming chair, reaching up I grab the mic with my hand and switch on the 'on air' button, "Good Morning residents of Emory Hills, it is I, Eliza your most humble host. Today at Fighters Ultimate we have new entries for all levels of fighters, whether you're a beginner or just learning about the craft, classes are at a low discount to $20 per week for months; September, October, November , December an for the first few weeks of January." I take a small inhale of breathe before continuing.
"Also, the studio is opening it's very own small dance class that will be run by one of Fighters Ultimates fighters; Kellie Towning. Alright, I will get out of everyone's hair until the break....here comes one of everyone's new favorites, enjoy your morning Emory Hills." I click off and swing the mic away from me.
I walk out of the radio office and walk passed a sneering Kellie. Yeah despite my cheeriness over her being the dance teacher, I hated her. She equally hated me if not more, so it was even. I honestly have no idea why she hates me, were both supernatural, she's a werewolf with dark brown fur and sea green eyes. Her human hair of course dark brown.
My hair was a platinum blonde with searing brown eyes that turn fully black with no pupils when I begin to lose it, then my eyes are a deep blood red as I begin to let my wolf inside take over.
"Are you really just going to ignore me?" Kellie shrugs off the wall she had been leaning on to step in my way.
"Your classes are starting arent they?" I asked motioning towards the now full studio and anxious students glancing through the doorway at us.
"Don't test me, I don't care if you're Alphess or if you were on the council ourself, you are nothing and you will never be something."
I could feel my eyes burning, I knew they were a deep shade of red and not the black, my heart skips as I take one step forward and basically bump noses with Kellie, my eyes burn the more I stared her down, "That begs into question...why are you flipping your lips to your Alphess?" I turn my head, letting the compulsion of being the Alphess swirl around me and settle around Kellie.
Kellies eyes widen as she realizes she just challenged me, she gulps and lowers her head slightly, "Shit...I'm sorry Eliza, it's the moon. You must feel it too. It's a full blood red moon hanging high in the sky already. The sun is only just beginning to set. You know I never meant any harm–"
Just then the door to Fighters Ultimates swings open, Kellie scurries back to her room and I run to my bag, opening it up asi feel my skin begin to sizzle and steam, I open my already half eaten dark chocolate bar and take a small bite, ripping the tip off. As he chocolate starts to dissolve and slide down my throat, my wolf recedes a little. I take another bite of the chocolate bar and I could feel my eyes switching from rage blood red to normal color.
As I take another bite, my heart begins to slow down and I could feel the rage and my wolf settle. I breathe a sigh of relief, I made it just in time. Fighters Ultimate is a very public and human oriented space, so there can be no slip ups, we must always hide our true nature.
I look towards the door that swung open to see a man with dark hair and green eyes walk in, he walked with he confidence of a thousand Alphas. My thighs clamp together as his eyes sweep across the entire room before settling his intense gaze onto me. Something about the way he looked at me though, made me think we had met somehow before and I just didn't remember it or we knew each other from a past life. That feeling.
My nostrils flare taking in his scent, I realize he is indeed supernatural, only not my species. He is a vampire. With his somewhat purple reddish eyes, and fangs that came out when he smirked at me told me even further he was a vampire. Smelling some resemblance of myself on him meant he was an Eternal Vampire. I was Alphess of the Eternal Pack, he must be the King of his coven.
We shared the same colonized ancestry.
All Eternal packs/groups/families of Emory Hill share some amount of the same bloodline somewhere along in history, and the rest of the species branch out into their own respective classes.
"Let me guess...Derek Young blood?" I question, beginning to walk around him slowly, my eyes never leaving him, for some odd reason I feel I could drink him in and never stop.
"In the flesh, why are you circling me?" Derek crosses his arms but swings them around lightly, one of his hands swings out to grasp my hips, holding me in place and stopping me from doing my wild dance. This was purely the wolf. For some reason, I was subconsciously encircling and partaking in a mating ritual.
I could feel my eyes begin to burn and I turn running out the back door, what the hell...WHAT THE HELL ELIZA.
I burst through the back alley, with nobody around this backside alley and no lights and street cameras, I come out here to change in dire emergency situations. And this chemical and physical reaction my body just gave to this vampire was not a good one. I haven't even found my mate yet. Whether it be fated or chosen, I still haven't found him.
So why was I ready to dance with this vampire into my bed?
