After a long day's worth of paperwork, destruction, missions, meetings, and the Peters. Dear fucking god. He had a couple of minutes to himself, minutes of peace are worth a lot. At the Spider Society, a moment of peace is rare for Miguel at least that tends to happen when you're a Spiderman who doesn't have the "humor" that every other spider-person tends to have. Running a society that puts multiversal villains away back to their rightful universes gets tiring but most of all dangerous. You never know what dangers lurk behind the next corner or how dangerous your villain in another universe may be. When you become a Spiderman you vow that you'll save as many as possible, and you make sacrifices that no person should ever have to make, but it's a part of the job.
But that doesn't have much to do with what is currently happening, in fact nothing to do with what he's doing right now. Why? You ask a good question, he's entrusted Miles and his friends with dealing with Mayday for the entire day so he, Peter B Parker and Mary Jane could have a day off.
