[Mogeko] AdauchixReader - Never Forget

You stand next to the large door to the throne room. As you press your ear against the cold stone-like door, you hear two familiar voices. The devil himself was bickering with his son, Adauchi.

Despite the fact that he was quite the troublemaker, you and Adauchi were close friends. You were one of the residents at the flame world that knew about Adauchi plan to leave. As you fell deeper into your mind, you recall him telling you almost everything.

"If I leave, Im changing my appearance and my name but.." You remember him using his scarf to cover his mouth. You knew that Adauchi was trying to tell you something, but after that, both of you stayed silent.

"_____! Can you hear me!" Forcing you back into reality, Rieta shook you slightly, gaining your attention. "W-what?!" Startled, you look at the orange haired demon, and show her a fake smile. Rieta sighed and tilted her head ever-so-slightly. "You shouldn't eavesdrop." Your smile quickly vanished as you apologize and wait for her to walk away.

As Rieta turns around and continues with whatever she was doing before, you glance at the throne room's door before walking down the hallway to the main entrance.

Once you're right in front of said entrance, you hear a door slam behind you. You slowly turn around to see Adauchi walking towards you with an angry expression on his face.

He stopped in front you, and crossed his arms. "Oi. Do you think I should leave? I trust your opinion better than his." The way Adauchi said that last word told you that he hated his father.

"Whatever's better for you..." You gave him a small smile, even though you didn't want him to leave. He had a classic smirk on his face as he said "Thank you" and walked away.

As the faint sound of footsteps disappeared, you sighed. Ever since the day that Adauchi had told you he would leave, your extremely cheery aura had faded away.

Instead of moping around, you decided to do something. You turned around and walked away from the castle, lost in thought as you followed the path.

You looked at the empty houses surrounding you, and stop. Instead of thinking about Adauchi or why Ivlis wears a scarf in the flame world, you think about a destination.

Finally deciding where to go, you head to a field of flowers. All the blossoms have the same colors as everything else, making the area quite a boring place.

You find a spot in the center and sit down. Still bored, you pick one of the brighter flowers and pick its petals. As the petals fall, Adauchi walks over to you and sits down.

The demon is extremely quiet, and you're focussed on the flower, you don't notice. Once the petals are all gone, you drop the flower and reach to get another one. As you move your hand, you hear a familiar laugh.

You look to your right and find the source of the small laugh, Adauchi. You stare at him for a second before scolding him. "You should tell me when you get here!"

Adauchi gives you a fake apology and his smile fades away. You know that he's about to say something, so you wait.

"Do you really want me to leave?"

He has a serious tone, and his eyes are locked on yours. You avoid eye contact and look at the ground. The true answer comes out as you whisper "no."

After you answered, tears started. Small hiccups and quiet gasps were heard. Adauchi closed his eyes, sighed, and opened them. He carefully moved his hand to your chin and made you look at him.

Even if he had claws, you felt a normal hand under your chin. As you sniffled, the demon leaned in. Your noses were touching, and a blush appeared on your face.

"Never forget me."

He leaned in further, but didn't kiss you. Your lips were extremely close, causing your blush to grow.

"I promise I will see you again."

He closed his eyes and he leaned in closer, causing your lips to touch his.

There's no way I would forget him now.

I was going to make this sad, but then threw away that idea.
