Kilian led Kavina to a quiet corner of the backyard, away from prying eyes.

"Kavina, I need to tell you something," Kilian said, his voice laced with nervousness.

"What is it?" Kavina asked, her curiosity piqued.

Kilian took a deep breath. "I slept with someone else."

Kavina's eyes widened. "What?"

"In Chicago, after your gig," Kilian continued. "I met this woman, Paige. We talked, and... it just happened."

Kavina felt like she'd been punched in the gut. She couldn't breathe.

"Why are you telling me this?" Kavina asked, her voice shaking.

"Because I feel guilty," Kilian replied. "I know we're not officially together, but what we have... it means something to me."

Kavina's mind reeled. She thought they had a connection, something special.

"How could you?" Kavina whispered, tears welling up.

Kilian reached out, but Kavina pushed him away.

"Don't touch me," Kavina spat.

"Kavina, please understand—"

"No, I don't understand," Kavina interrupted. "You're telling me you slept with someone else, and now you're feeling guilty? That's not fair."

Kilian looked pained. "I know. I'm sorry."

Kavina shook her head. "Sorry isn't enough."

Kavina turned to leave, but Kilian caught her arm.

"Kavina, wait—"

"Let me go," Kavina demanded.

Kilian released her, and Kavina stormed back to her friends.

Mosiah noticed Kavina's tears. "You good?"

Kavina forced a smile. "Just... nothing. I'm fine."

Laila raised an eyebrow. "You sure?"

Kavina nodded. "Yeah. Just need a drink."

Na'veah handed Kavina a glass of wine. "Here, girl."

Kavina took a sip, trying to compose herself.

Mosiah leaned in. "So, what did Kilian want?"

Kavina shrugged. "Just... guy stuff."

Mosiah looked skeptical but dropped it.

As the night wore on, Kavina's thoughts swirled. She felt angry, hurt, and betrayed.

Why did Kilian do this? Did he ever care about her?

Kavina's inner turmoil continued, hidden behind a mask of smiles and laughter.

Kavina's anger simmered as she watched Kilian laugh with their friends, unaffected by their earlier conversation.

How can he be so carefree after what he did?

Kavina's resolve hardened. She needed answers.

She excused herself and marched over to Kilian.

"Kilian, we're not done," Kavina said, her voice low and firm.

Kilian's smile faltered. "Kavina, what's—"

"Not here," Kavina interrupted, pulling him aside.

"Listen, I need to know why," Kavina demanded, her eyes blazing. "Why did you sleep with her?"

Kilian sighed. "I told you, it was a mistake."

"A mistake?" Kavina repeated, incredulous. "You deliberately chose to sleep with someone else."

Kilian's expression turned defensive. I dont know, i just-"

Kavina's anger boiled over. " you dont know"

Kilian's voice rose. "I didn't plan it, Kavina. It just happened."

"Just happened?" Kavina mocked. "You expect me to believe that?"

The argument escalated, with neither willing to back down.

Mosiah intervened, concern etched on her face. "Guys, calm down."

Kavina took a deep breath, composing herself. "This isn't over."

Kilian's eyes locked onto hers. "I know."

As Kavina stormed off, she felt relieved to have expressed her anger
Uncertain about their future
Determined to protect herself

Kilian watched Kavina go, regret etched on his face.
