Victoria's new life

It's been a few years since Victoria graduated from highschool and college. She was still living with her father Tails the fox, even though she's been saving up money for a place of her own. Sadly Victoria and Silver split apart, nothing bad happened, we just needed our times apart, we are still very close friends which makes me happy, at least I don't have to avoid him like a lot of ex's do.

(One early morning)

Victoria's pov

I was still asleep in my bed, when the sunlight shined through the window. I lifted up my head and yawned. I got up out of bed and walked over to my desk to start writing in my diary. "Dear diary, It's hard to believe I'm still living at home with my dad, even though I still love him and always will. I would like my own place but it's hard for me to make money, even having my bakery job and reading to kids at the library twice a week. I wish my life was easier for me, I know one day everything will work out.

"Victoria"

I sighed and closed my diary when I heard my dad call for me "Breakfast sweetheart!" called Tails. I quickly got up from my desk to get ready for work before heading downstairs for breakfast.

Tails Pov

I was downstairs giving T-pup some oil for his breakfast, while waiting for my daughter to come down. I looked up and saw her walk downstairs in her bakery outfit. "Good morning sweetheart" I said smiling, "Morning daddy," she replied smiling. T-pup jumped on my daughters leg for pets. "Good morning to you too, T-pup," she said, giving him some pets.

Victoria sat down at the kitchen table to eat her breakfast before leaving the house. I put down some yummy brown sugar waffles with maple syrup for her. "Thanks daddy," she said smiling. "No problem," I replied.

Victoria's pov

I finished my breakfast in 10 minutes. I got up to clean my plate and utensils for my dad since he made my breakfast for me. "I have to run, daddy," I said, picking up my purse. "Wait" My dad passed me lunch. "You made lunch for me too?" I asked. "Yes of course," replied my dad smiling. "Oh um thank you, I'll see you at dinner time" I said. "Alright sweetie, I love you" said Tails. "Love you too" I replied walking out of the house.

At Sweet and Love Bakery

Victoria's pov

I arrived at work and walked into the building. "Hi Victoria," said Amy. "Hi Ms Victoria" added Cream. Amy and Cream are my co-workers and they help me run the bakery. "Morning girls," I replied, walking behind the counter. "So what do we have planned on baking today?" asked Cream. "Um, let's see," I replied, looking through the baking book. Amy looks at the counter. "What about some more butterscotch dream cupcakes?" asked Amy. "Okay those sell pretty quickly and Cream let's do some ginger molasses cookies" I said smiling. "Okay," replied Cream walking into the kitchen. "Let me know if you need help, Amy," I said. "Yeah no worries," replied Amy.

(Few hours later)

Victoria's pov

The doorbell rang and Vector and Charmy came into the bakery. "Oh hi guys," I said smiling. "Oh Victoria, how have you been?" asked Vector. "I've been doing okay, so what can I do for you both?" I asked, "Well it's Espio's birthday in a few days and we were wondering if we could place a cake order?" asked Vector. "Oh of course," I replied smiling. I got out the cake order book and started filling out the information. "What flavor would you like?" I asked. "Well could you do vanilla cinnamon with ninja stars on it?" asked Vector. "Well I've tried that before... but I'll give it my all," I replied smiling, writing it down. "Okay, I'll call you guys tomorrow when the cake is ready," I replied. "Thanks Victoria, come on Charmy" said Vector. "Coming" replied Charmy, flying away. I smiled and started working on Espio's birthday cake.

(Few days later At Espio's birthday party)

Vector's pov

I was setting up the decorations in the office with Charmy while waiting for our friends to arrive. "Charmy, did you get the balloons done?" I asked, turning around. "Nope," replied Charmy. "Then what the heck have you been doing for the past hour?!" I said getting mad. "Nothing..." replied Charmy. "Then get your pointy butt to the job," I said, turning back around. "Alright jeez" replied Charmy.

(Few minutes later the doorbell rang)

Vector got off the chair and answered the door. Sonic and the others were all here for the party. "Hi Vector," said Sonic. "Hi everyone, come on in," said Vector. All of us walked into the Chaotix's place. It wasn't long until we heard footsteps coming this way. Sonic looks out the window and sees Espio coming. "Espio's coming" said Sonic, closing the curtains. Vector turned out the lights and told all of us to hide. Sonic was hiding with Knuckles, Mighty, Charmy, Shadow, Silver and Ray. behind the couch. Victoria and the girls were hiding in the kitchen behind the counter.

Espio's pov

I walked up to the front door and unlocked it. I stepped into the house, closed the door and turned on the lights. "SURPRISE!!" yelled out all of my friends. I turned invisible, scared out of my mind "Espio's it's just us," said Vector. I turned back to normal "S-sorry you guys just scared me" I replied. "It's okay buddy, we were expending that" said Vector. Charmy came up to me and gave me a hug "Happy birthday!" said Charmy excitedly. I hugged Charmy back "Thanks Charmy" I replied smiling.

(During the party)

Victoria's pov

I was with the girls having some cake and talking with them. "You did great making the cake Victoria," said Tikal. "You never disappoint us," added Cream. "Thanks girls," I replied. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around. "Hi Victoria," said Espio. "Oh hi" I replied smiling. "Um, could we talk?" asked Espio. "Sure, I'll be back girls" I replied. "Okay," added Tikal.

I followed Espio across the room and he stopped in front of me. "So what's up?" I asked politely. "I wanted to tell you thank you for making the cake, I never knew you were such a good baker" replied Espio. "Oh thank you," I said smiling. Espio smiled back and I gave Espio a hug "Happy birthday". Espio was blushing as I hugged him. He gave me a hug back "T-thank you" , Espio replied.

Silver's pov

I looked over across the room and saw Victoria hugging Espio and I looked back at Sonic and Shadow. "What's wrong, Silv?" asked Sonic. I looked back at Victoria. "I.. just miss Victoria.." I replied sad. "I know Silver but... she moved on.." said Shadow. "Shadow is right... but she said you'll both always keep in touch" said Sonic. "I guess you guys are right..." I replied.
