Chapter 3 Victoria's new apartment

(The Next Day)

Victoria's pov

I was walking towards the park to meet up with Scourge to have a talk with him. I was nervous because we haven't spoken to each other for years. I sat down on a bench and waited for him. I looked to my left and saw Scourge coming this way. "In my mind" "Oh gosh, why I'm I nervous..., don't be Victoria... you'll be okay. ""Hey," said Scourge sitting down beside me. "Hi, how's it been lately?" I asked. "It's been alright, I've been back to jail a few times, broke up with my ex from high school, and all that" replied Scourge. "Oh, um I'm sorry about that," I said looking at him. "It's okay, so what about you?" asked Scourge. "Well, Silver and I broke up..., have 2 jobs and trying to save money for my own place one day." I said. "Oh.. well you know I can help you with that" said Scourge. "With what?" I asked. "Getting your own apartment," added Scourge smiling. "Wait really?" I asked. "Yeah, I know some apartments that are renting for not alot of money, I can call for you," said Scourge. "That would be amazing, thanks so much," I replied smiling. "No problem Victoria," replied Scourge.

(Few weeks have passed, Victoria finally has her own apartment thanks to Scourge)

Victoria's pov

I was moving in some boxes in my new apartment. I set down my one box with my desk items in it and sighed. (In my mind) "wow it feels weird that I'm now living on my own..." I heard a knock on my door, I turned around and looked to see who it was. "Hey Victoria," said Scourge walking into my apartment. "Scourge?" I replied. "Yeah, it's me," he added, smiling. I walked up to Scourge and gave him a hug. Scourge was shocked that I was hugging him but he gave me a hug back. "S-so um.. Do you like your new place?" he asked. I unhugged Scourge and smiled. "Y-yes thank you so much for helping me out..." I said. "No problem Victoria, would you like some help with your boxes?" asked Scourge. "Oh sure," I replied smiling. Scourge and I walked downstairs to get the rest of my stuff.

(Few months later)

Espio's pov

I was walking around getting some air and space away from Vector and Charmy for a bit. I walked near a familiar street, I looked at my phone notes and noticed this was Victoria's street. I decided to pay her a visit. I walked to her house and knocked on the door, nervous as heck. The front door opened and it wasn't Victoria, it was Tails. "Oh hi Espio," said Tails, smiling. "Hi Tails, it's nice to see you" I replied. I saw a robot dog come up to me and barked. "It's okay T-pup he's friendly" said Tails picking him up. "Sorry about that, what can I do for you?" asked Tails. "It's alright, I was wondering if Victoria was home?" I asked. "Oh um she doesn't live here now, she moved into an apartment" replied Tails. "She did?" I asked. "Yeah, here I'll give you the address," added Tails. Tails wrote down Victoria's address and apartment number for me. "Thank you Tails," I said smiling. "No problem," added Tails, closing the door.

(Espio goes to the address and finds the apartment building I live in)

Espio's pov

I took the elevator up to the 4th floor. The doors opened and I walked to Victoria's apartment. I took a look at the note Tails' gave me to check the number again. I stopped in front of apartment 15, I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. The door opened and I saw Victoria. "Espio?" she asked me, looking surprised. "Yes, it's me," I replied. "How did you know where I live?" she asked. "Your father," I replied. "Oh makes sense," she replied, giggling a little. "Would you like to come in?" Victoria asked. "Oh sure," I replied smiling.

I walked into her apartment room and looked around. "Nice place" I said smiling. "Oh thank you," Victoria replied, closing the door. "Would you like anything to drink?" she asked me. "I'm okay right now, but thanks" I replied. "No worries," she replied. Victoria and I sat down together on the couch. "So what's been up with you lately?" I asked. "Well... um... it hasn't been all that good" she replied. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Well... I'm falling behind with my rent and I'm scared I'll get evicted.." replied Victoria almost crying. "I am so sorry Victoria..." I replied, giving her a hug. She hugs me back crying and I rub her back. "Maybe you should get a roommate," I suggested. ""You think that'll work?" she asked. "Yes of course, I know how hard it is to live on your own..." I replied. "Yeah I should have thought that beforehand..." she said. "It's okay... but if you need anything from us, we're just a call away" I replied smiling. Victoria gave me a hug again but this time I blush. "Thank you..." she replied. "No problem..." I added smiling.
