Why Him?

((Nobody's pov))

A loud crash echoed across the gym as Kageyama shoves Hinata into one of the ball racks.

"THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR HITTING ME IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH A VOLLEYBALL MULTIPLE TIMES. AND IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN YOU'LL BE LAYING IN YOUR OWN GRAVE!" Kageyama shouts to the boy sprawled out on the floor surrounded by balls.

He turns around and stomps back to his place on the court. Hinata then stood back up and ran full speed at Kageyama tackling him.

They both fall to the floor and grown. The angry Kageyama pinned Hinata to the floor and glared at the boy beneath him.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" He said with a tense voice.

"I'm Hinata, nice to meet you." Hinata laughed.

It was obvious that Kageyama wasn't amused and the joke seemed to make him get even angrier.

"u-uh I'm sorry! Please don't hurt me!" Hinata cringed.

Hinata felt the weight lifted from his wrists where Kageyama had his grip on, and looked up to see that the captain was lifting him off.

Hinata nervously laughed, since he could see how pissed Daichi was, "thank you...and uh... I'm sorry..."

Daichi sat Kageyama beside of Hinata and forcefully grabbed both of their heads while he had a fierce smile on his face.

"No problem," he gritted through his teeth, "I'll just make you two stay here all~ night~ that way you can resolve all of your problems!"

"But for right now, how about you guys clean up the mess you cared so much to make~" he deviously grinned.

"Yes sir!" Hinata saluted.

"I'm not the one who crashed into the rack so..." Kageyama sassed.

Daichi grabbed him by the collar and smiled

"I didn't say it was a choice."

"Tch."

He looked away and stood up, moving his way over to the ball rack that Hinata had already 1/4 of the way filled up.

"Whatever."

Kageyama sighed as he picked up the volleyballs and put them on the rack.

Kageyama whispers to Hinata, "you better not anger me tonight, because there won't be anyone around to stop me if you do."

Hinata gulps and nods.

The two boys finish cleaning up their mess and return to the court. Practice was just about over, and soon they would have to be locked inside the gym for the night to 'learn their lesson'.

~practice ends~

"HINATA! KAGEYAMA!" the captain shouts.

The two boys make their way to Daichi and wait for his command.

"You two go home and pack a bag, then come back here when your done. Also, to make sure you don't skip out, I will be sending one of your senpai with you guys."

The two of them make their way over to their chaperone, Suga. He pats the boys backs and chuckled.

"You two better be good, or we will make you stay an extra night" he winks.

Hinata shivers at the thought of it. Having to stay one night with Kageyama was enough fear to last a lifetime.

Kageyama glares at Hinata.

"if you're that cold then how about I wrap a blanket around your neck, I bet in a few minutes all of your pain will go away." He smirks.

Hinata jumped then rushed to hide behind Suga. Hinata looks up at his senpai with the biggest puppy eyes possible.

"Suga~ help~ don't make me stay with this crazy boy" he begs.

Suga was about to cave in to Hinata's cutesy act, until Daichi stepped in and grabbed his shoulder with lots of tension.

"s-sorry Hinata, I can't help you with this one..." Suga replied to the begging boy.

Suga walks to the exit and waves the two over.

"Come on! Gotta get your stuff before Daichi explodes!"

Daichi puts his hand on Hinata's shoulder and smiles down at him, causing Hinata to run full speed towards the door grabbing and dragging Kageyama with him.

Suga smiled at the boys sprinting out of the gym and waved to the rest of the members still in the room.

"I guess we're leaving now." He chuckled.

Suga ran after the boys that were on their way to get their stuff for the night. A little while passes and they arrive at Hinata's house.

"You guys wait here I'll be right back!" He shouted back at them as he dashed into his house.

Suga turned his attention to Kageyama who was just glaring at the door.

"Try not to kill the boy... Why do you even hate him so much?"

"Don't worry about it."

Suga just awkwardly scratched his head and proceeded to watch the door for Hinata to come out.

A few minutes pass and Hinata drags out a couple sleeping bags and a suitcase filled with snacks and a change of clothes for the night.

"Well Kageyama, looks like you only need to get a change of clothes." Suga chuckles, "Hinata has covered everything else."

Hinata tilted his head but didn't bother to think of what Suga was trying to say, so he just decided to smile and push Kageyama and Suga towards their next destination, Kageyama's apartment.

"Hold up Hinata, we know how to walk! No need to push!" Suga says while being forced forward, "Why in such a rush? ...You excited to have a sleepover with Kageyama?" he winks.

The rushing boy jumps back and turns a dark shade of red. "WHA!? N-NO OF C-COURSE NOT!"

Suga smirks, teasing the blushing boy, "those stutters say otherwise."

Kageyama looks at Hinata and blushed lightly as he turns the other way, "doesn't matter. Let's just go get my stuff..."

He kept walking in front to hide his slight blush from them. They walked for a bit, then reached his apartment.

Kageyama lived alone so he didn't need to worry about anyone hassling him about not being home for the night.

He walked out of his house with a small backpack with a change of clothes inside for the night.

Kageyama sighed, "guess it's time to be locked up for the night..."

Hinata replied, "yep..."

I'm sorry if it isn't really well written or if it is boring so far, but I'm glad that you read it ^-^
anyways, I'm a huge procrastinator and it will probably be like weeks before I write a new chapter... no matter what happens, I do intend on finishing it. Even if I end up not liking the plot. I'll just do a big event that makes the story take a complete 180 XD
