TONY POV

I slammed the car door shut, storming up to my penthouse like the whole world owed me something. Sia Mehra.Hearing her say it was like someone dumped kerosene on my already burning obsession. But the second I got inside, it wasn't relief that hit me. Nah, it was a damn whirlpool of questions. I didn't even give myself a second to breathe before dialing Rahul's number.

The phone rang twice. "Rahul" I barked into the phone, "WTF?! Why the hell didn't you tell me she was engaged?!"

Rahul's voice came through the speaker, but it was muffled. There were weird sounds on his end. Panting? Groaning? Wait, what?

"Rahul?!" I yelled into the phone, already losing my patience. "What the hell are you doing?"

Finally, he came back, his voice breathless. "Bro... kya hai? Couldn't you wait, like, five minutes?"
(What is it)

I clenched my jaw. "Wait for what? You sound like you're dying."

He chuckled. "Busy, man. Very busy." There was more shuffling and what sounded like a giggle in the background.

I rolled my eyes so hard I might as well have seen the back of my head. "Rahul, I don't care who or what you're doing right now. Answer me! You didn't tell me she was engaged to some guy" My voice was nearly shaking with frustration now.

"Who?" Rahul sounded confused, like I just mentioned some random guy from across the street. "Kaun guy are u talking about?"

I stopped dead in my tracks. "Are you kidding me? You don't know?!" I shouted, pacing back and forth like a madman now. "Her freaking fiancee! The guy she's marrying!"

Rahul was quiet for a second, then burst out laughing. "Bhai, are you serious? You're losing your mind over someone , Anyways his name is Rakesh Malvar, you know him don't you"

"What? Are u serious ?"I asked, running a hand through my hair. "This is literally the most important thing, and you missed it."

Rahul laughed again. "Why are you panicking over a dude named Rakesh? Bro, you sound jealous."

I huffed, irritated beyond belief. "Of course I'm not jealous," I lied through my teeth, pacing even faster. "I just need to know everything."

"Relax," Rahul's voice was way too casual. "Tune bola tha just the basics-name, family, where she's from. And bhai, don't tell me you're getting all worked up over some Rakesh."

"Of course, I'm not worked up over Rakesh!" I snapped, but even I could hear the lie. "But what if he's some amazing guy, huh? Like, perfect? " The thought alone was making my stomach churn.

"Rakesh and perfect?" Rahul was laughing again, clearly enjoying my misery. "Bhai, uska naam hi itna boring hai. Come on, you really think someone named Rakesh is competition for you?"
(Even his name is boring)

I stopped pacing, narrowing my eyes at nothing in particular. "What the hell does his name have to do with anything?"

Rahul chuckled. "Bhai, you're Tony Nyvell, If anything, Rakesh should be the one worrying about you!"

I sighed, but there was a part of me that wanted to smile. "Yeah, well... maybe you're right."

"Maybe?" Rahul scoffed. "You're like mafia,I mean you are, and he's... I don't know, the guy who sells vada pav on the side of the street."

I snorted despite myself. "Okay, okay, fine. But next time, I want everything.I don't care how insignificant it seems. Got it?!"

"Haan bhai, samjhgaya!" Rahul mocked me in a dramatic tone. "Now let me get back to..my ..ahem.ahem... you know."
