Life ain't always a fairy tale (but maybe it can be close)

Once upon a time in a land far far away......... Just kidding. This is not that kind of story. It's my life (but maybe it will end in a fairy tale;)!

Hey! My name is Lanie Kate Clark, but I go by just Lanie most of the time. I have light brown hair and big blue eyes! I'm 5' 5" tall and I'm completely a country girl. I'm not skinny but I'm trying to get there. My mom is Cherrie Clark and my dad is Neil Clark. My mom is an accountant and my dad is a... well actually I'm not real sure what he does. I have changed schools twice since third grade and am changing again now. Kindergarten to third I went to Brockville City School. I actually kinda liked it there and had a lot of friends! In fourth grade I moved to Fairview Private school (I did NOT want to be a private school snob but my dads job made me go there. It was the only decent school within 100 miles of our new house) I stayed there until last year and it wasn't as bad as I thought. This year I am moving to a new huge school, Lee Middle School. I will be going into the 8th grade in just a few days when school starts! I'm really nervous! Maybe it's just because of how big the school is but I think it's mostly because of my age. In fourth grade it wasn't bad, now everybody has their "cliches" and I'm scared I won't fit in. My mom keeps telling me I'll be fine & plenty of people will like me but I don't know... I'm not a cheerleader and don't really play any sports. But I'm not completely a nerdy kid that plays chess and reads all day. I want to fit in I just don't know how. but for some reason I have a feeling a miracle could happen and it will all be perfect here. I can't wait to see.
