"Jeez... that's really what happened?" Pen questioned in shock and worry.

"Yeah..." Needle answered. "It's been rough."

"I mean, I know what it's like to lose a best friend, but I didn't think he'd take it this bad!" Pen exclaimed.

"I thought he'd just be a bit sad, if anything." Needle responded.

"Well, how can we get him... un-sad?"

"...get Pin back?"

"And how would we do THAT?!" Pen questioned.

"I do have... one idea. It might not work, but we can try."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"And WHY would I do that?!" The tiny tyrant exclaimed, annoyed at the two.
"Come on, Golf Ball!" Needle pleaded. "Coiny's in a really tough spot right now!"
"Yeah, you've gotta help him!" Pen added.
"He is a contestant and thus is an ENEMY! I must not help him at any cost!" Golf Ball fired back.
"Sorry, guys." Tennis Ball said, who was nearby. "She's unconvertable."
"Aw, man..." Needle said, disappointed. "We were just able to save Pin..."
"Oh, it's not over. I have an idea." Pen said smugly.
He walked up to Golf Ball. "I have a deal for you."
"...continue." Golf Ball said, wearing a deadpan expression.
"If you don't help us with Pin, we and Needle are gonna reveal your thoughts on Tennis Ball."
"To everyone."
Golf Ball's face grew sweaty. She couldn't let that news get out. It would ruin her perfect scientist image.
"fffffFine." She said, reluctant. "I'll help you."
"YES!" Pen and Needle exclaimed in unison. "Thank you, Golf Ball!"
"And y'all watching," Pen added, turning to a wall for Huang knows why. "There's a lesson in this. If you wanna get something, blackmail someone with sensitive info!"
"First of all, that's a terrible lesson. Secondly, who are you talking to?" Needle questioned.
"...I don't really know."
-------------------------------------------------------------
Golf Ball worked in her lab to create a chemical. Something she called 'Tourevivite'. It hasn't been tested. It hasn't been proven. But damn it all, it better work.
"One more cup of frozen trinitrotoluene, TB. It's almost done." She ordered. Tennis Ball gave her the trinitrotoluene as she poured 1 cup of it in on the dot. The cube bubbled in the chemical liquid as it slowly melted. The potion turned from a sky blue to a light yellow as it melted.
"Perfect," she said. "It just needs to be mixed for 27.063 seconds." GB set a timer as TB stirred the concoction.
After 27.063 seconds, the timer went off as TB stopped. GB looked down thru the beaker.
A perfect ooze green, the liquid chemical.
"It's amazing," Golf Ball said. "The legendary substance, capable of reviving corpses long past their day of deceasement!"
"I'll go tell Pen and Needle!" TB said, walking out the underground lab.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As the brisk clean air hit Tennis Ball's face, his eyes darted around for Pen and Needle. Thankfully, they weren't hard to find. Pen was talking with Eraser, and Needle was sitting by a tree, watching Coiny in case anything happened to him.

"Pen! Needle!" He called out to them. "The potion-"

"IT'S NOT A POTION!" Golf Ball yelled from the lab. "IT'S A LIQUID CHEMICAL!"

"-liquid chemical is done." TB finished.

Pen and Needle darted over to the lab, as TB followed.

"Now that's cool." Pen said, looking at the beaker that housed the tourevivite.

"It looks just like Pin's ooze!" Needle noted.

"And that's why it could help her. It relates to her in such a fundamental way that-"

"Yeah, yeah, we get it." Pen said, interrupting GB. "Science rules, blah blah blah, let's go save Pin already!"

GB sighed in annoyance. "Fine." How did I even manage half a season with this guy? she thought to herself.

-------------------------------------------------------------

As the sun grew closer to setting, Needle and the gang came across Coiny, sitting once again by a tree.

"Hey, Coiny...?" Needle calmingly said. "Golf Ball and Tennis Ball made something. It... might be able to help Pin."

Coiny gave them the radio silence they expected.

"C'mon, man..." Pen added, trying to nudge Coiny into a response. "We've been friends for... who knows how long. You can trust me, and you can trust the others."

Coiny gave them the radio silence they expe-

"If it helps Pin." Coiny quietly obliged as he handed Pen Pin's shrunken body.

TB held the beaker as Needle used the silicone dripper to grab a drop of tourevivite.

She dripped it onto Pin's shrunken body.

Pin's body started to shake.

Her body levitated.

PIN
