Ocean Faith

The sound of waves crashing could be heard for miles. Water pouring down so hard you can't even see the stars, loud booms and crashes are all around. Yet, gently a piece of Driftwood was among the waves. Several weeks later, the piece of wood makes it to shore of an island.

Slowly creeping up onto the sand it lays beneath a group of palm trees growing tall in the water, along with other broken fits from the great storm.

Resting there for 3 days until. A villager girl around five is collecting broken branches. When she says something move on a piece of wood. Think enough nothing of it she goes back to what she was doing. P out of nowhere salt movement gets her attention back on a piece of wood.

There was a young girl with cuts and bruises all over her. She was barely breathing and looked almost dead. The villager from back to her home and brings back up Papa. There, p they bring the girl back to the village, making sure she is not severely injured.

The young children never leaves the strange girl's side. Day and night she sits there, waiting for something to happen.

To pray to the gods that the strange one will survive and be okay. Every night she prays and prays.

Eventually, she starts with you hopeless, until the strange one moves. Slowly she brings her eyes a jolt. The villager sees and starts to smile and yelling for her Papa

The Papa comes rushing in with a healer, that's a strange one slowly starts to sit up. The girl looks at her surroundings and asks, "W-where a-am I?" Her voice is raspy and dry like she hasn't talked for years.

The girl looks around curiously waiting for a reply. "You are safe here in our island." The villager's Papa says. Everyone nods their heads going with what the adult man said.

She looks around nervously, and makes direct eye contact with the little girl and it's like they understand each other or something.

"May I ask your name?" The villager girl says. Nodding her head the strange girl answers. "I a-am X-Xena, a-and you a-are?" The villager kid recalls"I'm Kailani Stellar". The girl who is now called Xena looks around and nods her head.

Taking in her surroundings and looking at the people that are around her. She looks down and realizes she is naked so covers herself with her bare arms. Everyone looks away whlie a young woman hands her a blanket.

Thanking her she wraps herself tightly and then tries to stand. Kailani then looks shocked and helps her stand. Xena then looks around and realizes she is now home.
