Then class ends and we are all told that we are gonna get the results sometime this week or next week. Penny and I walk out to the lobby and trade phone numbers. We decided to hang out at a local coffee shop.
" Hi can I get a medium pumpkin vanilla chai please? " Penny asked the barista. The barista nodded and looked at me.
" Could I get an pumpkin spice latte? " Penny looked at me and held in her laughter until she finished paying after she fought me and told me I could pay next time.
" I had every intention of paying for your drink Pen!"I told her as we sat down. She looked really pretty even after 2 and a half hours of dance.
" Well jake, you just have to be faster than that. Wait stay like that. This is photo worthy. " I just smiled as she took the photo.
" Let me see! I need to know if I look like a rat. " I see the photo and its really cute. Is it wrong to say that about my self?
" I mean you always look like a rat but I guess you look pretty cute. " she blushed as she said it. " Would you be mad if I happened to post it?" I shook my head and watched her pick the photos to post.

" Ok so you like Taylor swift right?" I asked her knowing the answer I was about to receive. She nodded her head very aggressively.
" I love her. But why might you ask?" She sounded sceptical.
" I mean I might just happen to have two tickets for said concert, I mean we had fun at the reputation one right? " She got up an hugged me.
We finished our drinks and headed to times square. She held my hand just so I don't loose her. But then she was the one dragging me around.
" Dude your quite literary a dancer your should be able to walk faster than that. " She said to me.
" pen where are we going?" I ask her as we are waiting at a cross walk. She just looked at me innocently.
" You will find out!" She told me. We continued to walk around for about 15 minutes. She kept checking her phone to see if she had the right place and she giggled to herself.
" The m&m store?" she nodded and pulled me inside.
We walked around and I had never thought of Penny as more than a friend before but that's was 4 years ago, when I was 13 and she was 12, we kissed once. It was a dare but it still happened. Everything was going smoothly until I was told we were moving back to the states. My dad British and my moms American so I have dual citizenship, same with penny, but we were both so upset.
" What if we make matching m&ms! " She said very excitingly. I nodded and we headed over to the screen. A very familiar song started playing.
" I go on to many dates " I sung quietly but loud enough for penny to hear me and blush. We got our m&ms and walked to her apartment. She kept saying sorry for the mess but it was mostly clean. I mean I have a dog so I don't know what clean is anymore. We just hung out and watched movies for the most part. I missed her. She was my best friend for so long and I didn't realize how much I missed her until she was back.
It was near 11 and penny was trying to force me to stay at her house not wanting me to walk alone at night in new york. I don't blame the girl but I just called my roommate.
When my roommate, Tyler, pulled into our driveway he asked me who she was.
" Ok so who's apartment where you at? Like you told me her names penny but like who?" I laughed.
" My childhood best friend. We grew up together and then we were both at the audition. She is really pretty though and I'm taking her to the concert. " He looked at me shocked.
" Your taking Penny to the Taylor Swift concert? " I nodded. " Can I see a photo of this girl?" I pull up her Instagram and show him a photo of her on her birthday.
