“Louis?”

Harry's boots made swift sounds as they took steps into the knee-high grass. His emerald eyes scanned the grassy field that swayed in the blowing wind, making it look like the green blades were dancing. He searched for a boy wearing tight, bum-hugging jeans, a loose fitting maroon shirt with a gray beanie on his head, and sad blue eyes. He had chased Louis for nearly four miles out of the busy LA city and into a more calm area, where he lost sight of him in this green meadow. He had no idea the older boy could run so fast and for so long; Harry quietly thanked himself in his mind for keeping in shape, or he would have never been able to keep up with his broken hearted boyfriend.

“Louis babe, please answer me.” Harry called, still continuing to scan the area while walking deeper into the field. “I know you're angry Lou, but running away isn't going to help.”

Harry sighed as he replayed what had just happened in his head. Modest Management had called Louis and Harry into their office, telling them that they needed to have a serious talk. Of course Harry and Louis felt nervous about this, as Modest never has anything good to tell them, but they didn't really have a choice. Joining hands, they walked into their management's office, only to discover Eleanor inside, sitting in a chair with her legs crossed and a pitiful smile on her face. Harry and Louis never really had a problem with El, she was a really nice, sweet girl who encouraged them to stay together as a couple, no matter how hard her job with Louis got. Although the world saw her as Louis' girlfriend, Lou saw her more as a best friend. Usually Eleanor is smiling gratefully when she sees the famous Larry Stylinson holding hands, but this time her eyes were dark and full of sadness; it made the couple's stomach turn.

“Please boys, have a seat.” John said, gesturing his hand to two seats on either side of Eleanor; of course, they made her sit in the middle so they couldn't be close to one another. Sighing, Harry slowly released Louis' hand and sat on the seat to Eleanor's right, while Louis sat on her left. He gave El a small smile, and she tried her best to return it. Although they weren't dating, Louis and Eleanor were close friends and told each other everything, so Louis could read her like a book. Something was seriously bothering her, eating her away. It only made him more nervous; he could feel his hands starting to sweat.

“So, I guess you lads are wondering why Ms. Calder is here.” John continued once the couple was seated. No one answered him, not even a simple head nod; so he just kept talking. “Well, as you know, some fans are very strong believing in Larry Stylinson, saying it's real-”

That's because it is.” Harry growled, shooting his eyes away from John and to the floor. John sighed heavily, giving Harry a stern look before clearing his throat and picking up were he left off.

“Boys, it pains me to say, but we just can't let you two be together. I know you've begged me constantly to let you come out as a couple, but with 99% of your fan base female.. It's just not possible, lads.”

Silence.

“So... getting to the point why Ms. Calder is here,” John kept running his mouth, eager to get this over with. The tension in the air was so thick you could cut it with a knife, it was even starting to affect him. “To prove to the fans that Larry isn't real and that you two are straight.... Louis, say hello to your wife-to-be.”

Louis' eyes grew wide and immediately began to swell with tears. His hands gripped the arm rests of the chair with clenched fists, his heart started to pound, if it was still in one piece. He could hear Harry sigh in depression, and Eleanor sniffle.

“No.” he said mindlessly, staring John in the eyes. “No. You're lying. I'm not marrying her.”

“Louis, I understand this hard to accept but you hav-”
