The Werewolf Apocalypse

That Night

I was out with my family and friends one full moon night celebrating my 21st birthday, some of my family gathered around the table, a couple smiling, others laughing, my cousin stuffing a thing of cake in his mouth frosting covering his face, and my dad was on stage singing a song all drunk while my mom tried to get him back to the table my cousin who had food on his face took a look at me and smiled as he placed a hand on my shoulder "How does it feel to be twenty one buddy?" He asked, I stared at him then looked down at my hands "It feels-" before I could say anything I was interrupted by a friend of mine she tapped my shoulder "what is it Nat?" I asked, she looked down at me then back at the windows "something is happening outside" she replied, I looked where she was looking and saw two to three people running "they are probably late for some-" but, before I could finish a whole bunch of people were running some running into the building we were in others tripping, falling over "AHHHHHH" men and women screaming bloody murder.
Me and my family and friend gathered around each other as people started to flood the building staying close to each other "what's going on?" My mom asked but, no one responded to her I watched people run by me and stopped one of them by grabbing his arm I felt the hair on his skin standing and his body shaking "hey what's happening?" I asked my voice a bit shaky he stared at me fear in his eyes "Your not gonna believe me" the man's voice was serious he didn't sound like he was playing he sounded like he was in disbelief "try me" I said, he scratched his head trying to think how to word it "wolves" he said his voice still shaking "what just wolves?" I asked, I tilted my head at him but, he shook his head at me "no werewolf's" he replied his voice almost breaking. I stared at him in disbelief "AHHHHH" "KRESSSHHH"  the scream was high pitched women and stopped as she crashed through the window, her body landing in front of Nat, blood had splashed on a side of her face when the body had impacted trough the window all the color from Nats face drain so fast, she looked like a ghost and I could tell she wanted to scream but, the fear got the best of her and held it back. "OH MY GOD" my dad screamed, my mom held my dad tightly as the smile that was on her dropped so fast, her eyes and body shaking my dad backing the both of them away from lady who laid lifeless on the floor, my dad pulled me behind him but, as he grabbed me I felt him shaking something about seeing both my parents in distraught twisted my stomach in an awful way.
     "Kreshhh" we heard glass break outside as we saw a shadow of a wolf outside some people seemed confused some started to talk but, I remembered what the guy said "Werewolf's" I said my voice almost cracking "what?" Jay asked sounding confused by my words but, didn't push any further seeing wolf ears at the window, we watched as the stood up on it hind legs standing about nine to ten feet tall "oh my god" a lady said her voice shaking . It stared at us through the broken window showing its teeth "GRRRRR" it growled loudly to show its hostility but, some people didn't seem to be too concerned about their chances with the werewolf at least a couple people were ready to take this thing on a couple held up pool clubs to protest and fight the werewolf while I heard another guy break his beer bottle and hold it up. "KRESSS KRESHH KREEESSHHH" the sound of more glass breaking made my the hairs on the back of my neck stand up "dad" I whispered my voice almost cracking, my dad turned to me his eyes saying it all he's scared "Run" my dad said in a low shaky voice.
I started to back up slowly as Jay did the same but, Nat was frozen in fear her body refused to move I grabbed her wrist and it finally brought her back to reality. She then slowly started to step back with me and Jay "GRRRRR" we heard I watched the window at the werewolf still standing there preparing to attack but, it seemed as if it was waiting but, for what? "Clink" something hit floor outside like metal "tap tap tap" footsteps followed afterwards. I watched the windows again and noticed the werewolf's face changed, its teeth showing in a different way but, not in a hostile way almost like it was grinning. After a couple seconds I noticed two different pairs of ears next to the werewolf and watched as they finally stood up and stood just as tall as the first werewolf it's was two more.
Jay grabbed my shoulder and he pulled me as I pulled Nat and we ran as the werewolf's jumped into the Bar through the broken window one grabbed a lady by her arm "SLISHH" It ripped it apart from her body with such ease blood splattering on the walls "AHHHHHHH" her voice screamed in pain and terror. Another werewolf jumped at the guys at the pool table slashing one of the guys who was holding a pool club neck wide open his head almost falling off the blood spraying from his neck like a sprinkler but, it didn't stop it quickly bit down on another guys neck "AHHHH"  "CRACK", the last one jumped at my dad I watched as Jayden pulled me and Nat back as my dad held it off "DAD" I screamed my voice almost cracking, my mom attempted to get the werewolf off but, the other one jumped at her holding her down "MOM" I yelled as tears rolled down my face, it lifted it s claw but, before I could see anything Jay spared me and pulled me to the back of the bar he pushed me and Nat out of the bar "Guys we need to get out of here" Jayden said, Nat nodded agreeing with Jayden but, shook my head as a thought came to mind, they are faster than us, they will catch up to us "we gotta hide somewhere they cant scen-" but, before I could finish talking a group of people ran out I got shoved to the side "Jess" I heard Jays and Nats voice call out but, when I looked back up they were gone. "CLINK CLANK" I heard from the bar, I looked around and saw a dumpster I didn't hesitate and jumped in. I closed top and buried myself under all the trash "TAP TAP GRRRRRR TAP TAP" I heard the sound of the werewolf's running past the dumpster. I sat in there for a moment the smell of rotten food and slimy stuff in there hadn't gotten to me yet but, the only thing that did was my family was gone I placed my hands on my head and felt everything just come out tears I wanted scream but, I couldn't "why why" I whispered to myself.
