If you work as a bartender in a bad area, you probably know that it's not really the best job.

Drunk men, drunk women, cleaning up after shit that isn't yours, not the ideal working area.

But, whatever you can do to put money on the table, you will.

You're the eldest of 2 siblings and your parents never really wanted you, they thought that you were a mistake. ᗷut, the same could not be said for your younger siblings.

As soon as you turned 18, you were kicked out of the house along with your belongings. Ultimately ending homeless for awhile.

Lucky, you do have good friends and they helped you get a job as a bartender.

It wasn't the best job, but at least it was something.

"Elaine, it's gonna be alright! You and uh... You're husband will get back together...! You just need to work things out!" You said to Elaine, who was crying very loudly.

Elaine was a 45 year old lady, she was a regular costumer. Every single week she would get drunk at the bar you worked at for the same reason. Her heart getting broken.

---

You'd always give her advice because you knew she never wanted to give up on her love life and she thanked you for it every single time, but this time it was different.

This time, she never asked for your advice because she gave up on her love life saying she would never find true love before exiting the bar.

"Y/N, don't worry, it's not your fault," Your boss, Claire, said to you before putting her hand on your shoulder. Claire was 38 year old woman with mid length brown hair and hazel eyes.

"It was time she gave up, before you started working here she was always coming and going for about 5 years and you've worked here for a year!"

She said before putting her hand off your shoulder. "Mm... I know but-" She cuts you off, "Also, could you please give theses drinks to table 56? After that clean the toilets, since nobody else will, thanks!" Claire says before going away to go do who knows what.

As you start walking over to table, you noticed that a fight was starting to break out, in this bar it was quite normal for this to happen.

Since you did karate and archery on the side, you were normally the one to handle the fights.

But, by the time you got there the fight had already settled.

"Here you go, sir..." You gave the man his drink before walking away, not falling to notice him ogling at you and your body.

You were told that you were beautiful and that your beauty probably matched those of a goddess, but you never payed any attention to it.
