Naruto looked around, and the world appeared small, or rather, he had become gigantic. He moved his new body, noting how his hands retained a human-like shape but were adorned with sharp claws and covered in gleaming scales. His wings, four in total, were magnificent—one pair extending gracefully from his shoulders and the other positioned roughly at his hips. His ten tails, powerful and sweeping, connected into one thick, sinewy appendage. In a moment of pure instinct, he swung his tail at the ground with all his might. The earth shook violently, cracks splintered across the surface, and a massive canyon tore through the landscape. It felt as if the entire continent had been rocked by an enormous earthquake, trembling under his might.
But it wasn't just his size that had changed; his eyes had evolved as well. No longer were they merely the Rinnegan or Sharingan of old; they had transformed into two Rinne-Sharingan, mirroring the one Kaguya Ōtsutsuki had proudly displayed upon her forehead. The power radiating from them felt almost sentient, as if they could perceive the very fabric of reality itself.
And his chakra...
His chakra felt unending and almighty, a tidal wave of energy that surged through him, overwhelming his senses. Previously, Naruto had always possessed a substantial chakra pool, but this new essence was something else entirely. It was like comparing a small lake to the vastness of the ocean. This divine feeling of boundless power enveloped him, igniting a spark of exhilaration deep within his core.
However, Naruto snapped back to reality, focusing on his mission once more, his purpose burning brightly in his mind. He began to concentrate, channeling immense amounts of chakra into his new eyes, feeling the energy pulse and thrumming with potential.
On the Ground
Team 7 struggled to regain their footing after the earthquake that Naruto's transformation had caused. The ground shook violently beneath them, sending them sprawling.
Natsumi was shaking, her voice trembling in disbelief. "Wha—what the hell is that? Is that Naruto?" she asked, her eyes wide with shock as she tried to comprehend the colossal figure looming before them.
Sasuke scoffed, a smirk creeping onto his face. "Who else could it be? The real question is, what did he do? It looks like he somehow managed to become something more than just the Juubi's Jinchūriki."
"—the beast itself," Kakashi finished, his tone grave as he assessed the situation.
"But how is that even possible?!" Mito shouted, her brow furrowed in confusion and fear.
"I have no idea. And right now, it doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is figuring out how to stop him," Kakashi replied, his voice steady, betraying no hint of panic.
"What is he doing?" Natsumi asked, her eyes glued to Naruto, who was now a towering giant.
"Whatever it is, we need to stop it now!" Sasuke yelled, channeling his energy as he formed his Susanoo. Natsumi and Mito quickly joined him, their combined chakra morphing into a vibrant Kyuubi chakra mode. Sasuke's Susanoo wrapped around the Kurama Avatar like armor, a blade materializing in its grasp.
With a fierce battle cry, the armored Kurama Avatar leaped toward Naruto, but one of Naruto's tails swung down like a massive bludgeon. The impact nearly crushed the avatar, and the force of it sent shockwaves rippling through the air.
Though the Avatar was knocked back, it regained its footing swiftly and charged at Naruto once more. The three shinobi poured their chakra into the sword, which began to glow with an intense light, signaling their determination.
The Avatar leapt onto Naruto, plunging the sword deep into his body. The resulting roar of rage and pain echoed through the landscape, shaking the very earth beneath them.
In retaliation, Naruto combined his ten tails into one massive appendage and struck the avatar with overwhelming force, sending it crashing back and launching the three shinobi into the air. The wound they had inflicted began to heal almost immediately, the regeneration reflecting Naruto's newfound power.
"Damn it!" Natsumi and Mito cursed in unison as they struggled to rise from the ground.
Taking a moment to gather his thoughts, Sasuke observed Naruto's chakra flow, trying to discern its direction. "He's channeling massive amounts of chakra into his eyes. It's definitely for a technique, but I can't tell what kind it is," Sasuke noted, his brow furrowing in concentration.
"Whatever it is, here it comes!" Kakashi shouted as Naruto opened his enormous maw and roared at the sky, his Rinne-Sharingan pulsating with an otherworldly light.
As if responding to Naruto's call, the Rinne-Sharingan symbol etched on the moon began to glow fiercely, signaling the impending infinite Tsukuyomi. The symbol vanished from the moon's surface and was replaced by a gigantic, ancient seal composed of hundreds of thousands of intricate, glowing white lines. It was a seal so complex that even the greatest masters of fuinjutsu would struggle to decipher it. Yet, its purpose was evident to anyone familiar with advanced sealing techniques: it was meant for imprisonment, eternal and unending. And Naruto's mission, the very essence of his jutsu, was to break that prison.
Naruto's roar intensified, summoning a massive storm around him as he poured more and more chakra into his technique. The atmosphere crackled with energy until finally...
Crack
The seal began to crack, fissures spreading across its surface at an alarming rate. It was as if the very fabric of reality was unraveling, and soon the seal was covered in a web of cracks. Finally, it exploded in a brilliant shower of white dust, sending particles cascading through the air.
Just when Team 7 thought they had witnessed the end of it, a blinding light emerged from the moon. It was like a white sun, radiating purity and power. The sphere of light began to descend slowly toward the earth, illuminating everything in its path.
As the roar of the colossal beast subsided, Naruto began to shrink, returning to a more humanoid form that still bore the remnants of his draconic transformation. His black hair now had striking red tips, and his eyes remained the powerful Rinne-Sharingan. His teeth had sharpened into vicious fangs, and his hands ended in formidable claws. Portions of his skin were covered in black and red scales, giving him an even more feral appearance. To top it all off, he retained his two magnificent dragon wings sprouting from his back, just beneath his shoulders, along with his ten dragon tails, currently fused into one.
The bright ball of light landed softly a few feet in front of Naruto, halting mere inches above the ground. The light gradually dimmed, revealing the figure within.
There she stood, regal and imposing—
Kaguya Ōtsutsuki had returned.
