A few days passed, spent by both Anna and Kazuya to field research by day, play dress-up by night. One night, Kazuya took Anna to the streets. Since Anna already did so much and seen so much about her, it wouldn't hurt to let her understand the Devil Gene mechanics to ensure their plans. Though for this night, since Kazuya was not well-known for expressing words, she decided to take Anna to a bar. There might be crowds, but they'll be too drunk to know there was a demon walking among them. Besides, it wouldn't hurt to loosen up before one big day tomorrow, and to come up with a new identity for Kazuya to contact Lee Chaolan.
They sit in front of the bartender, currently serving drinks for regular salarymen after work hours."What are these lovely ladies doing in such a lively bar?" Greeted the bartender. "What can I get for you today?"
Kazuya leaned to the bartender's counter and said, "I'd like a Blow Job, please."
"Oh my God, me too!"
"The drink, Anna."
"Quite an interesting order. Coming right up!" Bartender sets up bottles of liquors with different shapes and colors, along with a shot glass and a bottle of whipped cream. "Amaretto, Kahlua, Irish cream liqueur, and...whipped cream. You got yourself a Blow Job. Enjoy."
"Thank you," Kazuya took the short glass of liquor with a mischievous smile carved on her face.
Anna gave her a concerning look and said, "I have a bad feeling about this. Are you really trying to get drunk?"
"Oh no, this isn't for me."
Kazuya scanned around the bar to look for a potential target for her drink. Her eyes caught the attention of a couple sitting at the middle of the bar as they lovingly talked to each other, with the woman slowly moving towards the counter to order for drinks.
"Excuse me, Miss? Would you come here for a bit?" She called the woman to approach her and gave her the shot glass. "Would you mind giving this to your partner? Tell him that guy at the corner already paid for it."
Anna witnessed the event with her eyes wide and her jaw dropping down. The other side of Kazuya that she had never seen before. Kazuya was known to be a menace but never at this level of devious.
The lady took the drink to her partner, he proceeded to walk towards the corner of the bar to punch another man. A fight broke both the mood and the furnitures in it as a man was thrown on a table, and more men fought each other, causing one of them being tossed out of a window.
"Come with me. I want to show you something."
Kazuya took Anna by the hand as they walked out of the bar, looking for the one that was tossed out of the bar window that happened to reside unconsciously at an alleyway next to it. She put her finger at the man's throat to check for any signs of life.
"Kazuya, what are you doing? You started a bar fight just so you can drink this man's blood?"
Kazuya ignored Anna's questions, too focused on getting the drunkard to stand up. Kazuya's current state got her struggling with reduced strength, so the man was pinned against a wall.
"There is more to my power than that. Now, would you be a dear and help me pin this guy?"
Kazuya showed her hand as Anna pinned the drunkard to the wall. She took the man's hand and started digging her fangs down his arm. Anna watched the feast happened as Kazuya's hand grew bigger and more calloused within every drop of blood she drained, while the man's arm went smaller and daintier. She lets go of her fangs from him and the change was then reverted.
"Wait, how about the bite...mark?"
Before Anna's eyes, the bite mark sealed itself shut, as if nothing happened. They put the man down and left the alleyway, letting her process the situation. It was quite a peculiar one, which Kazuya herself still in learning of what else the Devil Gene is capable of. Hopefully, it would explain more questions Anna might have kept for herself to answer.
