A/n pov:
The sun filtered through the curtains of Alexia's room, casting a soft golden glow over the room. She stirred with a faint groan, slowly returning to consciousness. The remnants of a nightmare clung to her mind, fading into obscurity as she focused on the familiar surroundings of her bedroom.
Alexia rolled out of bed, her bare feet touching the cool wooden floor. The air in the room was humid, a remnant of her sweaty night. She ran a hand through her messy hair, trying to shake off the residual unease from her dream. She went to the door and was surprised but happy to see a door .
Then she padded cautiously out of her room, the thin carpet muffling her footsteps. She stepped into the kitchen, greeted by the aromas of coffee and freshly cooked breakfast. Her father, a portly man named Daniel, sat at the table sipping his morning beverage.
"Ah, good morning, Alexia," Daniel said, not looking up from his newspaper. "Just in time for breakfast."
Alexia's eyes lingered on her step mother Julia, who bustled around the kitchen. She wore the apron of a true wife of a large family, and her hands flew gracefully over the stove.
"Good morning, Alexia," Julia called out, her voice filled with warmth. "We were just about to wake you. You slept in quite late, dear. We were starting to wonder if everything was alright."
Alexia's gaze flicked down the breakfast table, catching sight of Eldor , her step brother, sitting across from her step mother and father He was the only one not speaking, his focus laser-sharp on his scrambled eggs and bacon.
Eldor's face was impassive, as usual, no hint of the inner thoughts that flickered behind his eyes.
She went inside and shake off all the bad thoughs and fresh up and get ready for her school, she wore usual dress with hacket and made a braid of her hairs. She come back to downstairs to for breakfast. And tried her best to act normal. As she grabbed a seat and helped herself to the food, Alexia felt her head starting to clear. The familiarity of the scene, the comforting sounds and smells, began to soothe the lingering effects of her nightmare.
Her step mother realized something was off and asked Alexia "Dear, you look kind of stressed are you okay?"
Alexia nod and tell her the matter
Her father Daniel glanced up from his paper, a smile flickering across his face. "You know, I sometimes wake up from nightmares and can hardly remember them," He said, taking another sip of his coffee.
