Prologue..? Before it all went wrong

3rd person POV!!

It was a normal day. Some toons went out to excract and get supplies. The others stayed at Gardenview, minding their own business. Cosmo was sitting on a bench. Sprout had gone to get supplies and he was on his own. 

Cosmo POV

Sigh.. im so bored. What can i do, if sprout isnt here? I really need someone to bake with me..

AH! Maybe I'll ask tisha! Shes decent at baking. Wait— shes probably busy sweeping right now. Welp... i guess ill go back to my room and watch a movie or something, i guess.

3rd person

It had only been an hour, but cosmo felt like half a day had passed. Rewatching these movies were so boring. Honestly, when are sprout and the others coming back? This is seriously getting him frustrated.

"For gods sake when is spr-"

Before cosmo could finish his sentence, he heard a loud ahh "Ding!"  Come from the main lobby. Eager to see his best friend, cosmo jumped off from the sofa (pretend he was on one ok) and ran towards the opening elevator. 

"Hiya cosmo!" Sprout said as he saw cosmo running towards him.

"SPROUT! IM SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU GUYS COME BACK! Cmon, lets go make some cookies!"

"Sure! But... ill put some things down first."

"Alright, see you at the kitchen!"

Cosmo POV

Im so happy, sprout is finally back! Im going to get the supplies ready.

Huh, sprout is taking quite a while. Well! Maybe hes coming now...

Where... is.. sprout?

Maybe hes too tired, so he is resting in his room? Yeah, thats probably it. Imma go find him!

(Ok cosmos at sprouts door now)

*knocking sounds yeah*

"..."

Huh, hes not in his room? Where could he be...

I should go look around.

3rd person

Cosmo walked around Gardenview, until he saw a familliar strawberry...

...talking to ..

..dandy?

"..sprout?"

Cosmo tapped on the toon's shoulder.

"Ah- hi cosmo! What do you need?"

Sprout turned around and greeted him.

"Did you forget.. we were going to bake some cookies..?"

Cosmo tried to smile instead of frown.

"Oh, i forgot, sorry cosmo! Maybe next time. Hey dandy..."

Sprout answered without thinking, and continued to talk to the flower.

Sprout may have thought it wasn't a big deal, but those words hit cosmo hard like a rock.

Cosmo POV

'I forgot, sorry cosmo'..  what? How could he forget.. i thought he promised me that..

ngh...maybe he was just having a bad day... i should try again later. Oh well...

I walked back to my room, seeing that it was now 10 pm (he made me wait for 2 and a half hours for nothing...) i jumped onto my bed and immediately fell asleep.
