Continuation of Denial
As Zygarde began to pour out his pains and troubles, Kai did as well. The duo bonded over their shitty circumstances. They had begun to become good friends.
Zygarde: Oi! Lunch is ready.
Kai: Thanks, man!
The duo sat down to eat.
Zygarde: I'm planning to move to the West.
Kai: Why? You can stay here.
Zygarde: I can't keep being a burden to you.
Kai: You're no burden! You've never been one!
Zygarde: And I found a nice place that's near the border of the North and West.
Kai: And?
Zygarde: I can always come and visit you anytime.
A few days later...
Zygarde: Thanks for everything man.
Kai: The pleasure is all mine
Zygarde: If anything just hit me up.
Kai: Definitely brother!
Over time, they began to drift apart. After a particularly bad breakdown, Zygarde lost all contact with the people close to him.
A few months later... (After the events of Zygarde's Dilemma)
Place: Kai's house
Kai's phone rang.
Kai: Hello?
Zygarde: It's me.
Kai: Zygarde! How have you been?
Zygarde: Fine. Wanna meet up soon?
Kai: Sure?
Zygarde: That's tops. Come to xxx-xxx-xxx
A few hours later...
Place: xxx-xxx-xxx
Kai: So. What's going on?
Zygarde: West Gangseo is going on.
Kai: You're joining the West? What happened to our promise?
Zygarde: Let me finish. I'll be your spy.
Kai: Spy? The West is just a backwater school...
Zygarde: Who knows... We might find a talent worth recruiting there...
Zygarde: Besides, a West member loitering about isn't bound to raise as many eyes.
Kai: Fair point.
Zygarde rose and stretched out his hand for a handshake.
Zygarde: I'm not the strongest, but I sure am smart. Will you join me?
Kai gave a resolute handshake.
Kai: Anytime man!
