Chapter 2 the rise of the saiyan god

Chapter 2 begins with Kugo's enraged confrontation with his mother, Khalilah.

Kugo, his eyes blazing with a mixture of rage and hurt, powers down into his base form. He strides toward Khalilah, his voice trembling with anger.

"Listen, my son, I can explain," Khalilah begins, trying to calm the storm of emotions within Kugo.

"EXPLAIN?" Kugo roars. His voice echoes across the newly restored planet. Keem and Maria exchange worried glances, sensing the tension rising to unbearable levels.

"Explain to everyone how you left us! Explain how you chose a task over your own son! Explain how you told everyone about a prophecy you didn't even know was true! You could have saved us all, but you left us for years!" Kugo's words are filled with bitterness as he unleashes his frustration.

His anger peaks, and Kugo powers up into his Saiyan God Omen form. A fierce aura surrounds him as he clenches his fists, preparing to strike. But Khalilah, with a determined look, raises her staff to block his attack.

"If this is going to help you release your anger and feelings, as a mother, I will help you do that," she says solemnly.

The air crackles with energy as Kugo and Khalilah clash. The battle between mother and son begins, a storm of unresolved emotions and pent-up frustrations unleashed in their fierce struggle.

As Kugo struggles to land a single hit on his mother, he shouts, "YOU COULD HAVE TRAINED ME! YOU COULD HAVE PREPARED ME! IF YOU HAD, EVERYTHING I WENT THROUGH WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!" His voice echoes with a mixture of anger and despair.

In his Saiyan God Omen form, infused with the power of the Ozaru, Kugo strikes with intense energy. Khalilah, seeing the great ape figure behind him, calmly blocks the attack with her fingertips. She then grabs Kugo by the hair and slams him to the ground. Kugo tries to rise, but his strength falters.

Khalilah, her voice tinged with sorrow and authority, yells at her son, "LISTEN TO ME! I WAS THE CHOSEN ANGEL OF THIS UNIVERSE. I HAD TO DO WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, AND IT BREAKS MY HEART THAT I HAD TO LEAVE. BUT IT WAS BY THE LAW OF THE GODS."

Whis, observing from the sidelines, confirms Khalilah's words. "It's true, Kugo. She had no choice."

Tears and anger mix in Kugo's eyes as he stares at his mother. Khalilah continues, "But I'm here now. Now that I am finally an angel, I can train you and help you become the Saiyan God you were meant to be." She reaches out to him, hoping for reconciliation.

The Saiyans from Planet Kenyatta—Keem, Maria, Ken, Marcus—watch the tense exchange. Kugo, however, smacks his mother's hand away, the wind blowing fiercely around them.

"I'm glad you got what you wanted," Kugo says, his voice cold and resolute. "But you did something I will never do to you: leave someone they love behind for power and watch everyone you love die by listening to some gods."

With that, Kugo flies away, heading north. Damon, concerned, asks Khalilah where Kugo is going. Khalilah, her face etched with sadness, replies, "He's going to his grandparents' house."

Kugo lands at his grandparents' home, and his grandmother, the original angel of the universe, welcomes him warmly. His grandfather, visibly older but with a twinkle of joy in his eyes, rushes to hug Kugo. "School boi! I've missed you!" he exclaims.

Kugo smiles, saying, "I miss you too, Grandpa. You're getting old!" His grandfather laughs heartily at the remark.

His grandmother then leads Kugo to a secret cave, sensing the conflict he had with his mother. Inside the cave, Kugo is shown images etched into the walls: scenes of him as a child, as a teenager, the fall of their world, and the restoration of Planet Kenyatta. The cave also reveals visions of future events, including Kugo battling a creature with a tail while their planet is at war. The images show Kugo losing the battle but also hint at his transformation into the Saiyan God.
