Chapter 1

An 8-year-old boy is found in a room with his mother. She was waiting in a seat and the boy on a somewhat old doctor's stretcher. The red brick walls covering the room gave a somewhat terrifying vision, but nothing to worry about. Every moment of silence ends when the door opens and a person with a Plague mask makes an appearance.

- Mother: So what gift does my son have, Doc?

- Doc: Well, miss, I'll be direct. Your son has no gift.

- Mother: Oh no, my baby, what will I do? (Thoughts: It was good to bring my little one to the clandestine Gift inspection, I'll have my little one for a little longer). Very well, Doc, thank you very much. Reith, let's go.

- Reith: Okay, mom.

/ Scene change /

- Narrator: It all starts at the moment when the war between countries arose on planet Earth, it was a catastrophe. Once the war was over, only one unified country remained, the United States. We could say it came out victorious, but at what cost? The probabilities of the human race being eliminated were too high, so the Genesis project was created, where many ships would be sent to the planet most similar to Earth, Mars. On Earth, the population index was less than 5 million. The operation emerged and finally 100 spaceships were sent to the planet Mars. Everything went as expected, humanity managed to settle on Mars and the new era began, and this Era brought the evolution of humans who now emerged with gifts. These gifts at first were not so chaotic, but with the passage of time, more exactly two centuries, these gifts had to be regulated and then the hero system was created. That's where we find ourselves now, an Era where heroes fight against villains so that society does not fall into Chaos.

Region: 142, City: Chimera, Year: 2205, Residence: Kakumei.

A mother with black hair and an 8-year-old boy with black hair and brown eyes. They enter their house, on the sofa was a man watching television, that was until mother and son arrived.

- Father: So how did it go?

- Mother: Our son has no gift, and her tears began to surge.

Reith watched this and it destroyed him, he felt a lot of impotence, he wanted to make his father and mother happy, and life rewarded him like this. Reith went to his room climbing the stairs.

April 4, 2205

I'm very excited today we're going to a safe Hospital, my mom says, where even though I don't have a gift they won't exclude me, where they won't take my mom and dad away from me, it's something I can't imagine, I don't want to be away from my parents.

April 5, 2205

Today I was diagnosed without a Gift, it's something I didn't expect, I wanted to have a gift, I wanted to make my mom and dad happy, I wanted to be a hero like Xin the Symbol of hope. I don't like this, what will I do now, there are very few who are like me.

- Mother: I don't know what we'll do, love, we couldn't give our son power, she was crying on her husband's chest.

- Father: I know what to do but we might regret this, Tania.

- Tania: Then tell me what you have in mind, John.

- John: That our son undergoes a project, they didn't tell me much but a person approached me and gave me this.

John moved away from his wife and went to look for his briefcase that was next to the sofa and when he opened it there was a brochure with the address and phone number.
