"Thanks for walking with me." Fin said quietly, sticking close to Bren as they made their way through the halls.
"No problem, happy to." Bren assured. "You sure everything's okay, though? This is the second time this week. I don't mind at all, you know, but you look spooked." They admitted. "Just checking in that you're okay."
Fin sighed, shoulders slumping slightly. "Yeah. Just...there's been this person in chat thats said a few things. I'm probably just being paranoid."
"Hey, better safe than sorry. People can go rabid for content creators. I'll walk with you until you feel safe, 'kay? Until then, you need to get your mods to boost people like that out. You have every right to block people that give you reason to be wary." They informed.
"Hey Bren! See you at practice later!" They beamed, waving to someone before continuing.
"Anyways, let's get you to your class. I can chill out nearby and come get you once your class is over?" Fin flushed slightly.
"You don't have to. I know you're done until practice today."
"Yeah. Thats why I offered to chill nearby. Might even go bug April." They informed happily. Fin arched a brow.
"You know, out of the four of us I'm starting to think April's most likely to have a stalker." He joked dryly, enjoying how red Bren's face turned under their tan.
"I, um-well-"
"Dont worry. We all know you've got a little crush on her. Well, everyone except April, apparently. For someone who reads so much about love she's pretty blind to it when its giving her the heart eyes right in front of her face."
"I-I dont-heart eyes?!" Bren spluttered.
"Mhm. Pretty sure I caught you drooling once or twice while staring at her." Fin grinned, suddenly feeling in much better spirits as they reached his classroom. "Well, here's my stop. Thanks again!"
Bren stared for a moment as Fin left, only to blush harder as they noticed people staring, quickly hurrying off to find somewhere to wait. "I don't drool." They muttered to themself.
Fin gave a tired smile to Bren as he exited the class, more relieved than he wanted to admit to see that little smirk.
"There's our Finny." Bren teased. "That professor sure likes talking and keeping you guys over, huh?"
"Yeah." Fin agreed, falling into step with Bren as they made their way through the halls. "But she's great and the course is interesting. Can't complain to much when she goes over time while answering a question."
"Guess not." Bren hummed. "You prepared for Nap Day?"
He chuckled. "Yeah, I'm prepared for nap day. I still can't believe that became a thing."
"Aw, your fans love it." Bren teased. "Im still shocked you allowed us to keep using your space for naps in the first place."
"You two idiots need the sleep, especially poor Chad. First time he asked I thought he was gonna cry he looked so desperate. Besides, the cuddle time seems to do you two some good. You're both slightly more civilized afterwards."
"Hey! Don't shit on cuddle time. Psychological studies say you need eight hugs a day for maintainance. Maintainance. I'm a mess. I need more hugs." They defended dramatically. "Bi-weekly cuddles are nessesary for my mental health!"
"You know if you tried that line on April it might work." Fin mused. "Unless Gomez or Fester overhears, then they might just start carrying you around like a little dog in a purse."
