Why Me?

Chapter 3

The girls left and me and the boys were watching tv I was sittin in between Nate and Lucas. I wasn't really watching the show, I was thinking about what would happen and Derek found me. Will he find me? Would he hurt the boys? Would he kill me? All these questions went through my mind as I just stared at the screen. The boys and I talked about the sleeping arrangement, I'm sleeping in the room beside Nate's and across from Zac's.

"Okay while the show is paused Elena I need to tell you the rules."Logan stated, the boys looked at him confused but Hunter didn't, I nodded my head as I got out of my thughts.

"Okay sure." I said.

"Number one; me and Hunter are you big brothers. Number two; If any of the boys hit on you or touch you in any sexual way we will kill them. Number three; you don't go in any of the boys rooms and the boys don't go in your room, if the boys are cought me and your other brother Hunter will...well I don't want to say in front of you it's inapropite." Logan finished with Hunter nodding in agreement. I looked over at the other boys and they laughed.

"Um you're joking right?" I asked scared of the answer.

"Young lady we ar serious." Hunter replied, when did he become my brother or whatever? I wonder if I could play along, I smiled and looked at him and Logan.

"So you're saying if Nate or one of the other boys touch me like this...." I picked up Nate's hand and put it on my thigh, Nate looked at me with wide eyes. "...then you'll kill them?" I asked with a smile, Hunter and Logan's mouth dropped to the floor. Logan then walked up to me and Nate, oh shit what is he going to do?

"Logan what are you doing?" Nate asked as he kind of scooted down into his seat, Logangrabbed my hand and pulled me off the couch well yeah, I lost my balance and fell but not just on the floor but litteraly right beside Nate. I looked beside me at Nate and busted out laughing, Nate looked at me and smiled.

"Nice going Elena!" Nate said sarcasticly, he went to get up but Hunter came up behind him and tackled him. I looked at him shocked but Nate was just laughing, Logan grabbed my hand and made me sit on the other end of the couch away from Nate and can you believe this, he was giving us 'the talk' like the 'sex talk'. Yeah I'm shocked to, Lucas and Zac are just laughing thier lungs out and Hunter and Logan are going into full detail. I looked over at Nate we both had wide eyes.

"And then when he.." Logan began but I couldn't take it.

"Logan!" me and Nate shouted at the same time as Lucas and Zac stoped laughing. Logan and Hunter are the ones laughing now, Lord have mercy.

"Okay i'm going to take a shower and get ready for bed!" I said shakeing my head and walking to the bathroom. I got to the bathroom and took a shower, I got out and wrapped a towel around me and ran to the room I was sleeping in.

I walked in and grabbed a white tank and some sweat pants, I got dressed and then went to the living room, Nate was the only one in here watching some show.

"Everyone went to bed, they're so old." he chuckled, I sat beside him and started to watch the show.

I started to think agian, some people are okay to trust right? I just remebered I got a voice message from Derek and I havent heard it. I looked at my phone and then at Nate.

"Nate?"

"Yeah?" he looked at me.

"Can you listin to this voice message with me, it's from Derek he tried to call but I didn't answer?"

"Yeah of course." he stated sliding beside me as I put it on speaker.

"Hey slut, you know you shouldn't have ran away like that. Instead of beating you, you know what I'm going to do? No not kill you, I'm going to get what I want from you and the fun part is hurting you in the process! Now get your ass back here before I find you and I'll make it less painful! Bye bitch!" I dropped the phone and felt tears run down my face, Nate pulled me close to his cheast as I cried in his shirt.
