"... On the plllay-ggrround. But I'd really like to see her on the weekend!" I sang the rap part of Justin Beibers 'Baby'. I'm not a fan or anything, I'm just trying to learn all the rap parts! Though I'm not any good...

I'm wearing pink and white fuzzy socks, my white pajama shorts and a light pink tank-top, whith my blonde curly hair in a high pony-tail, singing to the top of my lungs, dancing around the house like an idiot! But it's fun!

"wow! SOMEBODY has 'Beiber Fever'!!!" I gasp and stop the music before Rafe sees anymore! Dang! Falling off the couch in the process

"yes I know you do, Rafe" I say smiling, trying to act calm cool and collected

"Sure, Sure." he says as he goes upstairs. For some reason he didn't come home last night. I am assuming he was with his latest girlfriend.

I climb up the stairs after him- I really need to work out more...

"So where were you lastnight? Mom was worried about you."

He fixes his hair to cover one eye again as he thinks. "I was with my latest ex girlfriend." I knew it!

"what? Did you break up with her already?" he didn't answer and just sat on his bed. Oops I'm kinda in his room...

I looked down at the trash covered floor, suddenly blushing

"I think you need to wear that outfit more often! It looks good on you" I looked down, about to thank him, but then I saw what I WASN'T wearing- got mad and ran to my room to change.

But before I could close the door I heard him yell

"you ALMOST look as hot as me in the mornings!!"

"hello?" I ask

"hey, this is, Drew!!! I FINALLY got a phone!"

"OH MY GOSH!!!! Drew!! You don't know how much I've missed you!!!!" Drew: handsome, sweet, dresses nicely, polite... Gay. Only downside. But I don't care, we are BEST fiends that haven't seen each other in a while!

"I've missed you too!!!" he squeals

"we sooo gotta hang out!" with him I can be a normal, squealing teenage girl

"yes we do! So how 'bout tomorrow?!"

"YES! I can't wait!!"

"Kay, Kay! Text me layta!!!"

"bye!" I said then hung up. Finally, some girl time!

This might sound weird to some people, but to me, it's just how life goes.

It all started when his family came to live here a few years back. Me and him became friends right away.

I started to feel something for him as 'more than friends' but he explained to me why he 'didn't feel the same way'. So pretty much he told me he was gay and that he would never love me.

I took it pretty well, for a fourteen year old girl. I always stood up for him when people would make fun of him for being gay. We became friends for life!

And so when he had to leave for collage this year (he was a year older than me) I was pretty sad for a while. I mean losing your best friend? Come on! And that was right after the whole Brett thing happened... But I won't think about that now. Or ever.

"honey!! I'm home!!"

"coming mom!!" I got of my bed, finally, and ran down the steps, going straight to the car and unloading groceries.

"Bree, you should have all the food you need in here, and thats all you'll need for two day right? Because I think we have everything else..." mom was saying when I walked in

I sat the food on the counter "umm what are you talking about?"

"oh! Did I not tell you? I am going to be away for two days with work, and Jerry is going on a fishing trip with some friends for two days. That leaves you and Rafe here, but I think it would be best if you had a friend come over..." she trailed off as she started unloading the food

The house. Me. Rafe. Alone. In the house. This is a disaster waiting to happen....

"when are you leaving?" I ask her

"tomorrow!"
