Theme: Discovery.
Ever since humans gained rationality, sentience and understanding of what they are and of their surroundings, something else awoke in them: Curiosity.
They developed a mighty need of exploration, discovery and to uncover all the things that exists in the world, because of their natural sense of domination and desire to conquer the world they were at.
Because of that need, humans have created various means of travel, with the goal of transversing through the limitations of the world and finally start the age of discovery. These means have all broke through the different freeways: Land, air and...
Sea.
The sea: A natural part of the world which nature and true secrets remain unknown due to the great depth it possesses, it also became a real obstacle in the path humanity has taken, but this didn't deter humanity and it's burning determination to meet and understand the world and because of the untamed and wild essence of the gigantic force of nature, humans decided to conquer it too.
With that in mind, humans created sea-centric forces in their efforts to claim the vastness of the blue waters, but one of them stood up the most in the history of humanity: Pirates.
This world was filled with many forces: Marines, Pirates, Samurai, Giants, Fishmen, Fairies, etc... Each and every single one of them fighting for the total dominance of the great oceans, but none of them could conquer it since the oceans rejected them naturally because they weren't worthy and they weren't meant to be the kings...
Only two were.
Meet Y/N Turquoise:
A mysterious young man who was found ashore in Turquoise Island by the fishermen, strangely dry and clutching a patch of seaweed that seemed alive.
Y/N grew up on the island as a cheerful, adventurous child who was always with his fish-like colt that he named Riptide, always curious about himself because of his strange natural marks and a weird connection he seemed to have with the water. One time he met a mysterious old man who needed to rest on the island, the populace let him as Y/N, curious on how was the world out the island, asked him a million questions, the old man laughed as he told Y/N many stories and experiences he had at the outside world
The old man rested enough and was almost leaving, but not before giving Y/N a gratitude gift: A small chest. Y/N asked what was in it, but the old man just smiled and said it was something he was supposed to have, a treasure of the sea.
Before he left, Y/N asked what was his name because he never revealed during his stay on the island, the old man stopped, turned around and answered:
"My name? Heh... It's Silvers Rayleigh, remember it kid.
And with that done, he vanished and Y/N opened his chest. Inside it laid a large light blue fruit with swirly details and he wondered why a strange fruit would be a treasure but he shrugged and ate it all, frowning once he tasted nothing, but the fruit was consumed anyways.
Some time later a band of bandits assaulted the island and took every person hostage except Y/N, the bandit leader saying that the island was his property and so were the fishermen, suddenly Y/N ran up and stood in defense of his family, proudly stating that he wouldn't let them harm them.
The bandits mocked Y/N as they were preparing to attack him too, but then a heavy dark storm appeared over the sky as Y/N's eyes and tattoos glowed menacingly as wind and lightning emerged from his body and water tentacles rose from the waters. Then Y/N proceed to destroy the bandits and blast them away from the island, freeing the fishermen.
In the end, the fishermen celebrated their freedom and thanked Y/N for his timely help as he was surprised of the power he possessed, but then he remembered that Rayleigh told him he was special and he grew determined to master his power and start his dream: To discover his origins and to learn about the outside world.
Time passed as Y/N was a young adult who was ready to depart from the island he grew on as his powers were trained and managed, Riptide was a grown strong stallion as well. Y/N was saying his farewells with the fishermen as many of them were crying, sad to see that Y/N was grown now and that he would make his own path in the world, Y/N was crying as well but he promised to always carry the spirit of Turquoise Island with him everywhere he went, because after all, he was Y/N Turquoise.
With that promise made, he mounted Riptide and galloped onto the horizon, running on the water.
Meet F/N D. Sarcoche:
A girl born out of a lie. A pirate named Marshall "Blackbeard" D. Teach slept with her mother, a prostitute named Millene Sarcoche, and promised her that he would get her out of the brothel when he set out at sea. But he opted to leave her behind as she got pregnant with F/N.
Furious, Millene decided to have her baby and fought each day to raise her and make sure she didn't lack nothing, but then she contracted an illness that bound her to a bed, dying.
Little F/N was sad as she saw her mother lose health slowly and painfully, but Millene always had her eyes on F/N. She called her over and told her that it was her time to go but promised her to always be with her, she told her that she had to be strong and live on her own now and she also asked her to listen to her last wish, F/N nodded with tears as then Millene gained a hateful look, she asked F/N to avenge her, to go out there and punish the man who did this to her: Marshall D. Teach had to pay for his lies!
F/N promised to avenge her as Millene smiled, told her he loves her and then...
Died.
Since then, F/N worked tirelessly each day of her life, never losing her determination as her soul burned with vengeful fire and was getting closer to her goal.
One time, F/N was captured by slavers who planned to sell her as a slave to the Celestial Dragons, but they underestimated her will to survive as she freed herself from her binds and aimed to escape her captors. Suddenly something got her eye as she walked through their camp and she went to see what it is, and to her surprise: It was a lot of treasure! It seemed that the slavers also planned to sell those treasures along the captured, she was amazed at the view but then something caught her eye, it was a beautiful cutlass sword with three gems on the handle guard, it also seemed to call out to her.
She took it and it felt right in her hands, she could feel the power the sword was offering her: The power to invoke storms, to control the dead and control ships, it was tempting!
F/N decided to take it and with it she changed her plans: She freed the rest of the captured people and invoked a rainstorm to attack the captors while they were confused, they killed them all as F/N user her sword to turn them into her loyal skeleton crew.
Now with a powerful treasure and a loyal crew at her side, F/N was ready to take on the seas as she was on her way to fulfill her revenge!
Y/N and F/N, two souls who left their home for the seas with different goals in mind, each of them not knowing how their journey would lead to, but destiny would manage that they would eventually meet.
And when they do, everyone would learn why they are destined to become the:
"Masters of The Sea."
