A Second Chance at Redemption

Matt's POV:

"Well Matt you fucking blew it" Is what I thought as I sat in the Jefferson County Jail cell just wondering how I got here. I was at one point the hottest pro wrestler on the indies and was almost gonna get signed by WWE but then i screwed it up. Two weeks before I was set to sign my contract, I was arrested in Louisville, KY for driving while impaired and also having several controlled substances including cocaine and weed. I didn't want to admit that i had a problem like most addicts do but I did and I needed some serious help. My family didn't speak to me for going on a few months and any relationship I had I ruined because my demons got the best of me and they couldn't take it anymore.

As I sit in my cell thinking my life is completely over, a armed officer comes to my cell knocking on the bars getting my attention. "Brown you have a phone call." I thought "who would want to call me?" I got up and went to the phone on the wall and was shocked to hear who was on the other line.

"Hey Matt it's Paul Levesque or HHH, I was giving you a call to let you know that even though you are in the situation you are in, we can work with you because we think you have the talent to do some big things here in WWE. Vince and I are gonna talk to the judge in your case to see if you can get on probation since it's your first offense. If you promise us you will complete our rehab program, Then NXT will glady accept you and you can get started with us in a few months."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing a true second chance, I couldn't screw this one up. I smiled and said "Paul you have a deal thank you very much." He said "no problem kid, when you get done report to Florida in a few months at the PC for training.

This was truly a blessing to get my life back, little did I know that it would get so much better in many ways.
