The week following my capture felt like an eternity. My body had mostly healed, the bruises fading, and the cuts closing up, but the scars ran deeper than that. Drakkon's words, his mind games, and the images he had forced me to endure echoed in my thoughts like a broken record. I'd wake up in the middle of the night, drenched in sweat, my heart racing with phantom pains that weren't there but felt all too real. It was a struggle, trying to appear strong, to keep going like nothing had changed. But I could see the worry in Jason's eyes, in Billy's, in Trini's, and even in Ziggy's. They knew, but they didn't push me to talk, for which I was grateful.

But now, we had a mission, and I couldn't afford to let my mind linger on those dark memories. Drakkon was still out there, and we had to stop him, no matter what it took. "Looks like we've found one of Drakkon's hidden bunkers," Billy said as we stood outside the entrance. The structure was barely noticeable, camouflaged by the rocky landscape around it. Ziggy and Trini were scanning the area for any traps or alarms, while Jason kept a vigilant watch, his weapon at the ready.

"I hate these places," Ziggy muttered, glancing at me as we approached the bunker's entrance. "It's like he's got these things all over the universe."

"Wouldn't be surprised if he did," Jason replied grimly. "We've just got to stay on our toes. He could've left traps or who knows what behind."

"Or more of his twisted experiments," I added, my voice steady, though inside I felt a shiver run down my spine at the thought. I took a deep breath, trying to push away the memories of the last time we encountered Drakkon's horrific creations. We couldn't afford to be distracted by fear.

"Let's do this," Trini said, her tone firm as she gave us all a nod. "We get in, find whatever he left behind, and get out. Simple as that."

We made our way inside, the narrow corridors lit only by the faint glow of emergency lights. The air was stale, heavy with the scent of decay. It didn't take long before we stumbled upon the first room. "Looks like this place hasn't been used in a while," Ziggy said, his nose wrinkling as he kicked at the dried remains of one of Drakkon's experiments. The creatures were shriveled, their grotesque forms barely recognizable as anything that had once been alive.

"Whatever he was doing here, it's clear he abandoned it," Billy observed, crouching down to examine one of the remains. "There's no sign of recent activity."

I nodded, trying to suppress the sense of relief that came with knowing these monsters were no longer a threat. But it wasn't enough to just destroy the remnants. We had to find out what else he might have left behind. "Let's keep moving," Jason suggested, already heading towards the next corridor. "If this place was abandoned, there might be something deeper in that's worth checking out."

We continued our exploration, the oppressive silence of the bunker only broken by the occasional clank of metal or the sound of our footsteps echoing off the walls. The further we went, the more uneasy I felt. The walls seemed to close in on us, the air growing thicker with each step. But then, we heard it—a faint sound, almost like a whimper. "Did you hear that?" Trini asked, her voice barely above a whisper. We all froze, listening intently. The sound came again, this time more distinct. It was definitely human.

"Someone's here," I whispered, exchanging a glance with Jason, who nodded.

"Let's move, but be careful," he instructed. We followed the sound, moving deeper into the bunker until we reached a large room that had clearly once been a containment area. The walls were lined with empty cells, most of them open, their doors hanging off their hinges. But it was the sight in the middle of the room that made my heart clench. Five people, huddled together, dirty, their clothes tattered, and their faces gaunt with exhaustion and fear. They looked up as we approached, their eyes wide with a mix of hope and wariness.
