I completely forgot to let you guys know this but collaborative forms are allowed!!
If you and a friend (or two... or more) want to create characters who already know each other, whether they’re siblings, cousins, childhood besties, or even sworn enemies, go for it. Seriously, imagine the drama, the secrets, and all the tension that could come from these pre-existing relationships!
(This also applies if you want to make the oc with someone else who is applying and maybe is not your friend. You can ask them and if they say yes then go with it.)
What does this mean exactly? Well, it’s simple: you and your partner(s) in creative crime can brainstorm together to craft shared backstories, family connections, or even long-running rivalries. Maybe your OCs grew up together, or perhaps they have a complicated love-hate relationship. Whatever it is, it’ll add some extra depth and make things so much more interesting!
When submitting collaborative forms, make sure you make it crystal clear that your characters are linked. A brief explanation of their relationship will really help me see how they fit into the larger story. But, heads up—each person still needs to submit their own form! Just make sure the details are aligned (no one likes plot holes, right?).
And hey, if you’re diving into this collab thing, feel free to get a little extra with the lore! Adding some family drama or quirky shared memories can make your characters’ bond pop even more. Trust me, these connections could create some unforgettable moments in the story!
No one asked but... my OCs are totally open for collaboration if anyone is interested! I’m all about fleshing out some shared backstories or creating some pre-existing dynamics that’ll bring a little extra spark to the plot.
We could have anything from childhood memories, long-standing rivalries, or even some awkward family drama. Whether they’re tight-knit or barely tolerate each other, I’m open to all kinds of ideas! Just let me know if you’ve got something in mind, and we can figure out how to tie our OCs together for maximum drama, fun, and chaos.
I have to admit, I’m a little protective of my babies (aka my OCs). But hey, as long as we know each other, have chatted a bit, or are mutuals, I’m totally open to collaborating! I think we’ll be able to brainstorm our characters' relationships without ghosting each other halfway through. I’m here for it—as long as we’re on the same page and keeping the convo going.
