Scene -1

Emily stood outside her new apartment, taking a deep breath of the crisp city air. She gazed up at the unfamiliar building, feeling a thrill of excitement mixed with a hint of nervousness. This was it - her fresh start.

She was just trying to open the door for a new beginning and new journey when someone from behind said, "New here?".

The sudden voice made her turn around, and she found herself face to face with a stranger who was smiling at her with a friendly gaze.

The girls face lit up with a bright smile as she said, "Hi, I'm Ava! I just shifted next door, and I wanted to make a good impression on my new neighbor!".

She giggled and extended her hand for a friendly handshake, her eyes shining with warmth and kindness.

Emily smiled back and shook Ava's hand, feeling a sense of relief at the friendly greeting. "I'm Emily," she replied, her voice a little stronger now. "Nice to meet you, Ava. Yeah, I just moved in today."

Ava's eyes widened with excitement as she asked, "Oh, cool! How do you like the place so far?" .

And with that, the two girls launched into a conversation that flowed easily, like they'd known each other for years.

Scene -2

As night fell, Emily's excitement about her new place began to fade, replaced by a pang of homesickness. She sat amidst the half-unpacked boxes and clutter, feeling a lump form in her throat.

She missed her family's warm smiles, her childhood friends' silly jokes, and the comforting familiarity of her old home. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she gazed around the bare, unfamiliar room.

Just then, she heard a knock at the door. It was Ava, holding a plate of freshly baked cookies and wearing a sympathetic smile. "Hey, I thought you might be feeling a little homesick tonight,"

Ava said, her voice gentle. "I brought some cookies to help make your new place feel a little more like home." Emily's eyes welled up with gratitude as she took the plate from Ava, feeling a sense of comfort and connection in this new, unfamiliar world.

As they munched on the cookies, Ava asked Emily about her family and friends back home. Emily found herself opening up about her childhood, sharing stories and memories she thought she'd left behind.

The homesickness still lingered, but with Ava by her side, it felt more manageable. As the night wore on, they discovered a shared love for old movies, good books, and adventure.

Just as they were getting cozy, Ava glanced at her watch and exclaimed, "Oh, I'm so sorry, Emily! I've taken up your whole evening. You must be exhausted from the move."

Emily smiled, feeling grateful for the company. "Not at all, Ava. This has been the best part of my day."

Scene -3

Emily woke up to a gentle morning light, but her peaceful slumber was short-lived as she glanced at her watch and gasped - she was running late for her first uni day!!!

She sprang out of bed, her heart racing with excitement, and quickly got dressed in a flurry of activity.

As she rushed out of her apartment, she felt a thrill of anticipation mixed with a hint of nervousness.

Stepping into the elevator , she took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts and mentally preparing herself for the challenge ahead.

As the elevator doors began to close, a hand suddenly appeared, holding the door open. Emily's eyes widened in surprise as a boy stepped into the elevator .

As the boy entered the elevator, Emily felt a sudden jolt of interest. But her eyes quickly landed on the girly purse in his hand, and she thought to herself, "Ah, he must be gay."

But before she could process that thought, a girl with a rich, confident vibe stepped into the elevator behind him. She flashed Emily a bright smile and said, "Hi, I'm Sophia."

Sophia's eyes sparkled with warmth, and her long, straight hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall.

She wore a designer dress that accentuated her curves, and her high heels clicked on the lift floor.

Emily felt a little intimidated but also intrigued by Sophia's poise and beauty.

The boy, who had been quietly observing the exchange, spoke up, "And I'm Max." He smiled at Emily, and she noticed that he could be friendly and approachable.

As the elevator doors closed, Sophia turned to Max and said, "Thanks for carrying my purse, darling ."

Max smiled and handed her the purse, their fingers touching briefly. Emily watched the exchange, feeling a little puzzled.

Were they a couple, or just friends? why did she feel a pang of interest at their easy interaction?hmm.....
