When they get to Chuuya's apartment he lets Dazai take a shower.
Dazai carefully unravels the bandages that were just put on and steps into the shower. He hadn't bothered checking the temperature of the water and immediately was hit with freezing cold water against his skin. The shower hurt, the water feeling too strong on his wounds.
When he gets out, he puts on the clothes Chuuya had given him, just a simple T-shirt and shorts. He puts bandages on his legs, but not on his arms. He grabs a new roll of bandages and goes back into Chuuya's room.
He sits down on the bed next to Chuuya, hands the roll of bandages over to him, and holds his arms out for Chuuya to put new bandages on.
They sit in silence as Chuuya carefully puts the bandages on Dazai. After that's done, they both sit together awkwardly.
"...are you going to sleep here?"
"No."
"Are you going to sleep are at all?"
Silence.
"When is the last time you slept?"
And that is another thing Dazai doesn't know.
Chuuya gets up and pulls on the covers. "Come on."
"What?"
"You're going to sleep." Chuuya pats the space beside him on the bed, "I'm going to make sure of that."
Dazai doesn't want to sleep. He doesn't like sleeping. But he knows Chuuya is going to make him either way.
"Sleep? Next to you?"
Chuuya rolled his eyes. "Yes, next to me."
Dazai climbs into the bed next to Chuuya and they both lay down facing away from each other.
Dazai does manage to fall asleep and when he wakes up, he sees Chuuya staring at him. They are cuddled up with Chuuya's arms wrapped around Dazai.

Dazai woke up. It was still dark outside.
Wait.
Chuuya wasn't next to him.
He left the room and saw Chuuya making breakfast.
"Isn't it a little early to be doing all this."
Chuuya motions for him to sit down at the island in his kitchen.
When Dazau sits Chuuya puts a plate of food in front of him. Dazai's nose scrunches up in disgust as he stares at the food.
"I will shove it in your mouth and force you to swallow if you don't eat."
"Whaaa, Chuuya's so mean~"
"You need to eat."
Dazai sighs as he begins eating the French toast sticks.
"If you eat all of it, I'll buy you some crab."
He starts eating faster.
When he finishes eating, he goes to sit on the couch. Chuuya sits next to him and turns on a movie. He gets a blanket and puts it over both of them. Dazai hesitates for a second before reaching for Chuuya's hand. Chuuya puts his head on Dazai's shoulder, so Dazai puts his head on Chuuya's. And they fall asleep like that again.
