"Lacewing flies, or just lacewings, are small green insects named for their large, transparent, laced wings. Lacewing flies were sold at the Magical Menagerie." You read aloud taking notes as Sebastian and Ominus followed. Garreth was reading from a potions manual.

"Garreth, are you even reading about polyjuice potion? Or is this another one of your crazy concoctions?" You asked looking up from your notes.

Garreth flashed a toothy smile at you and wiggled his eyebrows. You laughed. "Always working on something my dear." He said putting his arm around you from behind and placing the book in front of you. You laughed again but didn't bother looking at it.

"Garreth, we really should be focusing on studying. I think everyone already has it in their minds that Sharp is going to quiz us tomorrow."

"Yes yes, they'll be plenty of time for that."

Ominus shook his head. "Why did I have to get you as a partner." He said grumbling mostly to himself.

"Calm yourself Mr Gaunt. I shall not let you down." Garreth said cheerfully.

You laughed. You did have to admit, It was a lot more fun to study with Garreth around, although not much work seemed to be getting done. You glanced over at Sebastian who was glaring daggers at the red head. Sebastian's fists were clenched so tight that the knuckles were white. "Are you alright Sebastian?" You asked. His fists unclenched and he smiled at you, almost faking somehow but you didn't know why.

"I'm good (Y/N). Just hoping no one loses either house points." He said glaring back at Garreth.

Garreth laughed and finally took out his notebook and sat next to you writing down your notes on his. "As I recall Sallow, you had quite the knack for getting into a bit of mischief yourself." You kept your eyes down on your notebook as Garreth copied you.

"Some of us called you Lord Of Detention."

Sebastian rolled his eyes but he looked back down at his notes not saying anything. You looked over at Ominus and saw he was getting quite ahead of you all. He was nearly through the whole ingredient list for polyjuice potion. "Geez Ominus, you're going way to fast."

Ominus just smirked, not stopping his pace.

Sebastian laughed. "He always was a bit of a teachers pet." "Oh please Sallow, you're just jealous." Ominus said. The two laughed and you smiled. It was nice you three could talk again like things were (almost) normal. You still couldn't get rid of that anxious feeling in your gut...and that dream you'd had.

"Why do you look so glum my dear?" Garreth said snapping you out of your thoughts. You shook yourself. You hummed at him. "Your face; you looked  so worried."

Sebastian glanced at you and Ominus sat frozen for a second. You shook your head. "Im good, just lost in thought."

Garreth smirked. "I'll bet you're thinking, 'how could Garreth possibly dazzle me again with his amazing knowledge and skills with potions.'" He said. You laughed nervously.

"Weasley could you please focus. If we do get quizzed tomorrow and we fail due to your goofing off, I will jinx you." Ominus said. Garreth put his hands up defensively. "Very well, very well. I shall be a good potions partner."

Sebastian rolled his eyes again.

Alright focus (Y/N). Fluxweed stems. A tall plant that produces stems used in a wide variety of potions including the focus potion and polyjuice potion.

Every few minutes you would look up and Garreth would wink at you making you giggle.

"Godric (Y/N), you're almost as bad as Weasley." Ominus said exasperated as he stood up. "Garreth come help me find that book that has the more detailed instructions for polyjuice potion." Ominus said. Garreth got up and grabbed your hand.

"I shall return my lady." He said kissing the top of your hand lightly. You snorted and pulled it away.

"Go, you weirdo."

Garreth skipped off after Ominus. You thought you heard Sebastian breathe a sigh of relief.

"How much have you got so far?" You asked looking over your notes again.

Sebastian set his quill down. "So far I've got the ingredients and their uses down. Have you got anything about general information on the polyjuice?"

"A little bit. I should probably have a little more than just general information." You groaned a little.

Sebastian laughed at you and scooted over to you. "Here, you can take down some of my notes about the ingredients if you don't have them all."

You smiled. "Thanks."

You began writing, using some of Sebastian's notes. He cleared his throat.

"(Y/N), are you okay? You've seemed distracted? Sometimes you'll be looking a far off almost."

You didn't look at him. You knew if you did you'd spill what was bothering you and you didn't want to trouble him. "It's nothing."

Sebastian lifted your chin with his finger forcing you to look at him. "(Y/N), please don't lie to me. I know something is bothering you. Is it me?" He asked almost with a sad look.

"No, no no. Of course it's not you. I mean don't get me wrong, things are a little odd now but it's not you...I promise." You said.

"Than what is it?" He asked not breaking your gaze but dropping his hand away.

"I just...I just have this weird feeling. Like...I don't know. Almost like something bad is going to happen."

His eyes widened slightly but he stayed silent, waiting for you to continue.

"I've had this feeling ever since I got on the train and it hasn't gone away since."

Sebastian still didn't speak but he pulled you in for a hug that was a little awkward because you were both still sitting. But he pulled you in as close as he could and held you tightly.

"I'm sure it's nothing. Probably just nerves. But if it is something, we'll handle it together." He said. You hugged him back and smiled. "Thank you Sebastian." He broke the hug and opened his mouth to speak but Ominus and Garreth returned.

"Sallow, (Y/L/N). It's getting late, we best get down to the great hall for dinner." Ominus said holding the book he was looking for under his arm.

You and Sebastian gathered your things and you four walked down to the great hall where dinner was served. When you entered the great hall, Garreth took hold of your arms and led you away from the two Slytherins  and over to the Gryffindor table, you looked back at Sebastian who almost looked sad but him and Ominus joined the other Slytherins and you all ate as much as you could before heading off to your respective common rooms.
