Scarce Tenderness

It has been two weeks since he joined the company, and he had made significant strides in settling into his new role. His awkwardness slowly quit him as he faced the crowd every day . He was now pretty familiar with his job and managed his works assigned on time. But he still hadn't had the chance to meet all the important faces of the company and still easily forgot the ones Felix told him.

As Sunoo walked into the cafeteria, the aroma of freshly prepared lunch enveloped him. His friends were already seated, eager to share new teas. Even though he didn't have much to share Sunoo would listen to their rants. He has become more comfortable around them.

"Are you all coming to the party today? "

"Uhm what party are you guys talking about?" Sunoo enquired.

"Haven't you checked the mail? It must be there. I guess the whole employees have been sent an invitation."

Sunoo grabbed his mini smart phone and scrolled through mails to find he got one too so he nodded to Felix he's been invited.

"Great!! So Hanni will pick us up all Sunoo, just come around that xxxxxx store it's near where you live around right. "

" Yea... uhm but can I in anyway not attend it .??"

"No Sunoo it's a great opportunity... You should never lose it, besides that you can meet a lot of the  higher officials of our company. " Yunjin softly spoke.

" Okay noona I'll come then... this will be my first ever official party to attend and i don't know the etiquette." Sunoo announced with worry hanging on his words.

"Hey you silly don't get all nervous, we all are going together no and I promise once you enter the party hall all this worry will diffuse into thin air.  It's all about completely forgetting about us as if we crossed a parallel universe. " Hannie almost squealed at Yunjin's  words.

Sunoo listened and smiled at them thinking it would be fun, hanging out with them would create memories to hold on forever.

Sunoo stood before the mirror checking his attire for the party and fixed his hair and parted his bangs slightly at the center. He smothered his lips with a pink lip balm and patted a little moisturizer on his face. So happy with his looks he left his place with a content heart.

He reached for his phone as he thought to call his pals to let them know that he's already there .

After 10 minutes of waiting he saw Hanni's car pulling in. He waved at them and seated himself at the backseat with Yunjin and Eric. They all complimented how simply adorable and yet handsome he looked. The drive was filled with excited blabbering of Yunjin and Eric and it took them  about  thirty minutes to reach the destination.

As they were heading to the entrance Sunoo saw those fine black cars that screamed class . He was so mesmerized at that as he was walking with his friends taking quick glances back at the cars parked.

They entered the hall where the swarm of people gathered in groups for the arranged party. Many were having drinks and seemed like  having their time drinking off the tiredness from work. Sunoo was awestruck with the decor, especially the humongous chandelier hanging down from the ceiling. Even at the luxury restaurant he worked in didn't have one piece like that. Returning his attention back to the surrounding area, Sunoo saw some men eyeing him up and down which never failed to trigger his insecurities to wake up. He held Yunjin's hand tightly and walked with his head down to avoid  those stares.

All he didn't know was that he was not being judged for his appearance but well they were eyeing him as a meal. But Yunjin seemed to notice this and held the brunette closer to her side as she glared at them subtly.

Almost an hour and half into the party all of Sunoo's friends except Hanni were nearly wasted . She couldn't drink as she was supposed to be the chauffeur for the night. They seated Yunjin and Felix on the corner sofa and they also plopped themselves beside them. Eric already went out with someone he got to know from the guests.  Hanni got a call in the midst of their chit chat and went outside to attend it, signaling Sunoo to wait there until she returns. Sunoo kept on listening to Yunjin talking about her love life and her desires while Felix was staring somewhere lifeless.

Sunoo felt weird seeing his friends like this. He never drank because he wasn't fond of harming his own body with these unwanted fluids. Speaking of fluids a sudden sensation to pee was inflicted on Sunoo.

"Jen noona, felix hyung I'm going to washroom I'll be back right now. You guys shouldn't move from here okay. "

"Sunoyahh youhh donnoo washroom sunooyahh... me will go help you let's go..." Yunjin kept on mumbling so to which Sunoo shook his head and go.

Sunoo walked through the sweating bodies reeking of alcohol but on the way he stumbled onto a small figure walking toward him . It was Jungwon but soon he looked down at his waist area which gave off a cool-sticky feeling to see the vine drenching  one of the shirts he had recently bought. He was saddened at the sight.

"Hey Wonnie is so sorry Sun , I didn't -hiccup- mean to stain your shirt -hiccup- ..." Jungwon murmured too weak to stand straight .

"Go there and use the bathroom of any room to the right young man and take your time drying there." A handsome man spoke to him who was behind Jungwon. He had such sharp features yet such a pleasant aura oozing out of him, Sun thought. He thanked him and went to  find a room that particular hyung told him  not listening to the rest of the handsome  man's words warning again  not to look for the rooms on the other side .

He didn't look up as he eyed  the floor and walked out of the hall to another session of rooms saying vip in bold letters. He kept on walking and couldn't find the washroom. As he was about to turn back to the hall he saw a room slightly open to his left and he knocked on the door twice so that if anybody was in there they could allow him to enter but he got no response and he was really afraid to the core to invade the room like that but still he can't lose one of the few shirts he owns right. He slowly  got in taking in the unoccupied view of the room and looked over to where the bathroom was .

All he remember was enter and turn to his right but now he is pinned to the door making it close with a thud. Pain seared through his back , hit with that immense force . He opened his eyes with fear coursing through his blood and saw furious dark orbs staring back at him . He was like hypnotized for a few seconds and came back to the reality of what was happening to him.

Sunoo couldn't form words or didn't know what to say to the man right before him with this dark aura radiating from him. He started to panic and tears left without wait continuously. Again when he looked up to the man that was eagerly waiting to pounce on him , he found that his furious gaze was fixed on him , enjoying this weak state he was put in . Then the words spilled from the raven haired felt like the end of his world.

" How dare you waste my time slvt ? Didn't I pay enough??"
