Summer Break

Liam goes to the ice cream store to buy some ice cream when he suddenly sees Aliyah taking trash out

Liam: What are you doing?

Aliyah hides the trash behind her

Aliyah: nothing

Liam: your taking out trash Aliyah

Aliyah: I'm not!

Liam grabs her hand

Aliyah: fine! I work at this restaurant

Liam: why?

Aliyah: well.... I don't have a father anymore, my mother is also sick

Liam: Damn..... Lol...

Liam then buys his ice cream and leaves laughing a little bit but he also feels guilty

After the two weeks they go back to school

Liam then gets up from his seat while the teacher is not there yet then he said to the whole entire class something

Liam: everyone may I have your attention please!

Everyone looks at Liam and was whispering to what they think he would say

Liam: Aliyah has no father and the worst thing is that she's poor so she works at a restaurant!

Everyone then starts to laugh hard

Aliyah then looks at Liam at tear forming in her eyes

Liam then looks at her and sees the tears, feeling a little sorry for her

Aliyah then gets up from her seat and runs away going to the girls bathroom, Aliyah has been crying for three hours now and Liam was starting to feel bad

After school Aliyah was waiting for the bus at the bus stop but then suddenly Liam comes and sits next to her

Liam: Aliyah.... I am really sorry, I didn't know what you would feel, I only thought about it after I told everyone....

Aliyah looks at him with tears still in her eyes

Liam cups Aliyah's face before pulling her into a hug

Liam: I know we are enemies but..... I can't help but sometimes feel bad and.... I think I like you Aliyah

Aliyah looks at Liam with a shocked face, she doesn't know what to say so she just stays still, Liam pulls away and was still holding her hand

The next day at another school day, at the second subject the teacher was absent so Liam decided to tell everyone something

Liam: Everyone..... May I have all your attention please?

Aliyah was shocked and scared of what he will say again but what he said next made her forgive him

Liam: So.... I lied about what I said yesterday, she does have a father and he's kind and strong, and plus she's rich! I bet you guys don't know her mother but she's great and everything nice

Liam looks at Aliyah and he smiles cause he saw her smile first, everyone looked shocked

Daniel: Damn it! I was starting to make a story out of it

Liam heard this so he goes to Daniel and slaps him but then the sub teacher (Fiona) came inside and saw him slap Daniel

Fiona:Detention NOW!

Liam looks at the sub teacher before looking back at Daniel and he was smirking, he then looks at Aliyah who looked sorry for Liam because he got detention for protecting her, Liam just nods and walks away to go to detention

After school Aliyah was waiting for Liam at the exit of the school, Liam then sees Aliyah so he walks towards her

Aliyah: Liam....

Liam: Aliyah

Aliyah: thank you for what you did....

Liam: your welcome Aliyah, and also.... I'm so sorry for what I said to the whole class yesterday

Aliyah: yeah..... What you said yesterday was the truth but you told everyone is a lie

Liam takes Aliyah's hand in his

Liam: I would never let anyone hurt you... Well..... Kinda except for me

Liam smirks and Aliyah smiles
