Chapter 3

"Look kid, I know that you cared so much to Kota, especially with the way you speak with him, but we just can't really entrust him to someone with don't know." Pixie-bob claimed which causes Ragdoll to bump her with her elbow.

"Ryuko..." She said.

"Look, it's true. Don't get me wrong, but you seem like a nice kid, but this is something we should be addressing, please don't take it the wrong way." The green feline hero said which made Kaito nod, promptly with her statement, he sigh, softly, but then he said this.

"Okay... But I want to know, are those really Kota's parents." That question never left Kaito's thought since the beginning, after all, it was the real reason he is here.

"I think, we're done here." She said, having no word to come up with that question, she simply only has one choice and that is to deny his request.

"Wait! I want to know! Are those really his parents?! If not, then why are they pretending to be them?! IT WILL ONLY HURT KOTA MUCH MORE IF HE FINDS OUT!" Kaito couldn't contain this feeling, he saw it in their body language, the way they reacted with his question, prove his intuition to be right.

And whoever those people are with Kota, are surely not human, he can only conclude one thing.

"....You used your quirk to manifest an image of what they look like, right? Making them feel emotions and act real... So tell me, why are you doing this to him?! What will happen if they disappear again?!" AS Kaito yelled, Ryuko couldn't handle it much longer.

She swipes her arm, and a wave of molded dirt hurried it's way toward Kaito. Ragdoll was quick to act and tackled the boy away from the incoming danger.

"Ryuko! What the hell!!" Ragdoll exclaimed, anger and confusion is written over her face.

"Look! I understand how you feel about Kota, but that doesn't mean you should throw away that anger unto someone!" Ragdoll yelled.

Ryuko and Kota we're once closed, she and him nearly had a bond, unlike his aunt, Kota treated Ryuko like a big sister, and they had such a good relationship, however, when disaster strikes, Kota's point of view on heroes, affected, those who are close to him, as well.

Ryuko was one of them, she wanted to help Kota endure the pain he is going through, but...

"DON'T TOUCH ME! I CAN'T STAND HEROES LIKE YOU!"

Since then, Ryuko has been holding this pain, she hides all this through her smile, and seeing as how a stranger would want to do so much more than she is, pains her so much that someone like Kaito would take a step to help him, at first, she sees him as a cute boy, but the fact that he puts the blame unto her, thinking that she created a manifestation of a mold that represent his parents, breaks her.

She, out of all people could not do such thing, even to someone like Kota.

Ragdoll, stops and saw how tears are slowly leaving her eyes, hands shaking and teeth, grinding. For once, this is the first time she saw her blue feline friend cry.

"You... You don't know anything... How much he and I been through, so why put the blame on me?" Her voice is shaky, her emotion is faulty.

Ragdoll softened her gaze at her friend, and so does Kaito, he understood by at some point he crosses the border on this one. Ragdoll stands up and was about to console her friend, but Ryuko backs away and walk back to the headquarters.

"Aw man... Sorry about her..." Ragdoll says to Kaito, standing up to his feet and dusted himself, he looks back at the path in which Ryuko took.

"No, it's my fault... Maybe I shouldn't meddle with this situation of yours." Kaito said, realizing that even if he tries doing something good, it would end up affecting others feelings.
