[Jake]

His confidence only lasted until he's suddenly on his back. Jake's eyes widen as he hits the mattress with a hard thump, his fingers digging into the sheets in surprise. He looks up at the looming figure above him that is one of his best friends and band member, mouth parted to say something—

"Wha..."

—but then Jay is kissing him again. He jolts when he feels the latter's tongue deeper in his mouth, almost at the back of his throat, and his hands immediately claw their way down Jay's arms.

This was a bad idea, the thought flits across Jake's mind.

Jay brushes the action off like it's nothing, doesn't even notice the nail indents Jake is leaving on him. But he tries again, digging his fingers deeper.

He doesn't notice when he had shut his eyes but they fly right back open when Jay smooths his hair off of his forehead. His eyes open in confusion, wondering what had happened. He's about to push at the older when the hand starts petting his hair.

Like a goddamn dog.

Jake whimpers at the action, his body slumping in defeat. A part of him hates that he's the one on his back, that he's the one panicking when he had proposed this whole thing. It should've been Jay feeling helpless beneath him and not the other way around.

And yet, the touch-starved, attention-seeking part of him is melting in satisfaction at only having to lie down and take it. Make the older take care of him.

His eyes flutter close at the sensation of fingers smoothing in his hair and he stops digging his nails on Jay's arms. They have fallen in a heap beside him, no longer having any strength.

Everytime Jay comes up for air, Jake's tongue would lazily follow until he's straining his neck trying to lick into the older's mouth. Jay would hold him down by his hair, his mouth merely a breadth away from the appendage trying to reach him. Jake would wait for him, tongue out in the air, until Jay has enough oxygen in his lungs and lowering his mouth to his once more. Once they're kissing again, Jake would relax back into the sheets.

At one point, his lower lip was bitten rather painfully and he jolted at the sensation. He's about to reprimand the older but then Jay is licking his lower lip incessantly before sucking it on his mouth, eyes meeting his apologetically. He then closed his eyes and let it slide.

Overtime, Jake's actions grow sluggish. He doesn't know how long they've been kissing, making out, but he's being lulled to sleep. He's barely responding and Jay is a comforting weight above him. It doesn’t help that the latter had kept one hand in his hair to keep soothing him.

Eventually, Jay separates with a small huff of laughter.

"Not so fun now for you, is it?" His voice is a rasp, a whisper in the stillness of the night. Satisfaction blooms inside Jake's chest at the thought of causing it.

"Shut up. Keep kissing me," the younger rumbles with a glare, hands pawing to pull the other closer. Jay shakes his head and starts to push himself up on his knees but Jake whines in protest, wrapping one leg around the former's waist to stop him.

The action sends Jay toppling back down onto him with a sharp gasp, and Jake lets out a small giggle. He starts pulling at the older's shirt to bring his face closer.

"Are you drunk?" Jay mumbles against his lips.

Drunk in you, Jake wants to joke but the words somehow didn't pass through his mouth. He merely ends up giggling.

The older sighs before cupping his face and kissing him again.

---

Jake wakes up a couple of seconds before Jay's familiar alarm rings through their room which pushes his heart into overdrive. He clutches at his chest with one hand in surprise, the other reaching for his spare pillow so he can throw it to the bunk bed beneath him, towards the direction of his bandmate's bed—
