Chapter 6: Sports Festiva Pt.2

Bakugo's P.O.V.
This was the last event and the longest event of the day. A one on one battle royale. The goal for this was to either get your opponent out of bounds or render them immobile. I was going to be fighting against someone named Uraraka.

'Who the hell is that' I thought

"Alright everyone we will be taking a short break before starting this event. Grab a snack and some drinks while we set up for this event. When we will have finished setting then the first two students come down here, the rest of the students you will go sit with your class up in the stands." Midnight said

I walked with Sakura. She stopped at a vending machine getting a strawberry milk and a caked. She took my hand and led my outside and we sat under a tree.

"Hey are you okay?" I asked
"Yea, it's just a hard time right now. It's the anniversary of my dad's death so I'm just having a hard time I guess." She said
"You know you have me and those other idiots to talk to about stuff right. I'm new to this whole dating thing but just know you always have me to talk to." I said
"Thanks Katsuki." She said

She pulled me into a hug and I felt my shoulder getting wet. I knew she was crying and trying not to show any sign of weakness. I hugged her back and started playing with her hair.

"Thanks Katsuki, I really needed that. I know you don't really know much about me. I'm sorry for running off the other day when we were all at the mall." She said
"I'm sure you have a reason and you'll tell me when you're ready. Come on, let's head back before it's your turn and you lose because you didn't show up." I said

She laughed a little and we walked back. Getting back into the stands she sat next to shitty hair and I sat on the other side of her. The first round was Deku and this guy with purple hair that looked like he was over this and didn't want to be here. Deku won, as we watched the next fire fights Sakura wouldn't stop shaking her leg.

"Are you nervous?" I asked
"Yes and no, the guy I'm going up against has a copycat quirk so I'm just wondering who's quirk he stole." She said
"Either way I know you're going to win." I said
"Thanks, well I better get going to prepare." She said

She got up and left heading down to the waiting rooms.

"Now up next from Class 1-A Sakura Tenshi versus from Class 1-B Neito Monoma." Present Mic said

I leaned forward to try and hear what he was screaming at, I could tell Sakura was over this and she just walked up to him and punched him in the face, knocking him out.

"With this short fight Sakura is the winner." Present Mic said

She walked away and didn't even help him get in the stretchers. When she got back into the stands she sat in the back away from everyone. I went to sit next to her.

"Hey, is everything alright?" I asked
"Yea, he just said some things that bugged me so I punched him." She said
"Do I need to punch him?" I asked
"No, it's fine. Thanks for protecting me Katsuki. You should get ready, your fight is soon right." She said
"Yea, right." I said, standing up I kissed the top of her head

I went to the waiting room and waited for my name to be called

"Now up next from Class 1-A Ochako Uraraka versus also from Class 1–A Katsuki Bakugo." Present Mic said

I looked in front of me seeing the girl I would be fighting I could tell she wasn't weak but she also wasn't strong either. I knew she had a plan whether it was from Deku or she made her own. I knew she had some sort of plan. She stayed low to the ground as she came at me causing me to use my explosions close to the ground bringing up some of the concrete along with dust and smoke.
