And the day has officially come, Alexa was going to getting ready for her first day of school. Her parents woke her up earlier than normally and helped her be less nervous. Her siblings couldn't wait to introduce her to all the teachers, the school wasn't far from their cave, it was a little deeper in the forest and that's about it. Her siblings took her to the first grade teacher who seemed to be an older wolf lady. Her fur was a grey-ish white colour with marks that were a nice shade of green, and her eyes were green as well. And quickly as she followed her teacher, her siblings were already going to their own different grades, which happened to be even further into the forest. She followed the teacher to what seemed like a cleared out space between all of the trees, but they were purposely cut off by the wolves to make a "classroom." There were small planks seated in rows on the clear area, where the students were sitting, the teacher welcomed Alexa in, and the class started quickly after. She took her seat next to a boy with a red-ish brown fur coat and some light brown marks all over his back and a little under his eyes. He looked funny to her. She was trying to pay attention to the class, though, but the thing they were learning about wasn't fun, and school isn't what she thought it was gonna be, it's not just playing and hunting, there is things you have to memorise and stuff they will have to talk about next class, it freaked her out! But she knew she'd try her best, if anything. During the whole class, other pups gave her quite weird stares, as she was the only one there who was just black and white. She was "colorless" as they whispered to each other. She tried to ignore the comments and focus on the tasks their teacher gave them.

She wasn't in a good mood when she came back home, and days kept passing, she didn't get any friends except her siblings. It even got to a point that she started getting bullied, she never felt more insecure about herself, no matter how much her parents comforted her and how much her siblings were always defending her against the bullies. The words "Colorless,", "Boring,", and just straight up "Ugly," really got to her.

She came back home with her huge blue eyes filled with tears.

"Mom, why? Why am I colourless? Where is my colour? Even you and dad have your colours. Where are mine? Am I really ugly?" Alexa asked while cuddling up to her Mom. Her voice was low and quiet as she sobbed.

"No.. love, you're beautiful just the way you are. Don't listen to those bullies, please..." Bell said in a comforting tone, snuggling against her young one, being so insecure at such a young age really broke her heart, and the worst part is that she didn't know how to comfort her properly. Bell let out a sigh.

"Try to look at it as something good. It makes you special. Not boring, sweetie. You're my pretty girl, and you always will be. No matter what anyone else says, your siblings are there to defend you as well. Don't be ashamed of something you can't control." Her mom said, trying her best to comfort her and hold back her own tears, she felt bad, she didn't know why her daughter was just black and white as well, but she didn't mind it and she would never judge her for it, Alexa's beautiful and Bell wants her to know that. It felt even scary, knowing her daughter isn't able to make friends can really mess her up, and that was the last thing Bell wanted. She wanted the best for her kid.
