CHAPTER 9

TWO MONTHS LATER

Everything has been tough from the past two months my relationship with Hugo fell apart as we never got intimate, but we did sleep on the same bed, but we just distance from each other which I did not know why it happened. I had to pull myself together and sit down with him and we talked about things, and there was a lot of honestly between the conversation. We started believing in God, and we were praying every night before we sleep evenjn the dining table we would pray. Things went back to normal, and I believe a prayer is what kept things stronger for us and I did it wish to let go of him. I love this man and he is everything I wanted. We had each other's back with our blood's running in our veins everything seemed normal. Rodney, Toby and Leon were always here oh, we had met Gabe Collins over dinner he is such a nice guy we can all see he is in love with Toby. I'm so happy for him he is happy which makes us happy. I have done setting the table now I'm waiting for Hugo to get down for dinner he has been so supportive lately and I am thinking of fixing things between us. I don't like how things are between us it's killing me. I hear footsteps coming to the kitchen and there he is looking handsome as always this man is gorgeous I'm luckyto had him. The miscarriage scar is gone I have mourned my child and now I can finally fix things with Hugo.

Hugo: "It smells nice here, good morning". He is smiling a little and it hurts me.

Me: "Good morning are you busy today?". His eyes widened we have never held a long conversation so I understand his reaction.

Hugo: "Um, I have ack to back online meetings so, yes I'll be busy". I nod.

Me: "Alright, let me dish up for you". I quicky dish up while he was sitting down watching me. I could feel his gaze on me as I move around, I want to feel his touch, his lips on my skin, to be in his arms I'm really yearning for his love I need it. I put his plate down he starts digging in chewing slowly as I watch.

Hugo: "Why are you staring at me is there something on your mind?". I blink looking somewhere else he chuckles. "Cassie are you alright?". I miss him but I can't say it.

Me: "Nothing um, I-I need to make a call to my brother". He nod I walk out going to my room I'm not calling my brother but I'm calling Toby he knows what I need to do. Tom is probably busy patrolling so, I don't want to disturb him. I tap his me on my cell and it rings two time before he picks it up.

Toby: "You must have a good reason calling me while my man is trying to make love to me". This guy crazy.

Me: "Can you stop it Toby I need your help". He groans lightly.

Toby: "Help with what I'm listening make it quick this man is shooting dangers at me". I laugh Gabe needs to chill.

Me: "Tell him we saw you first so he must wait I really need you".

Toby: "Okay this sounds serious Cassie what is going on?". I swallow just thinking about it.

Me: "Um, I don't know if you noticed the tension between me and Hugo lately yes because of the blood oath we can't be away from each other so we sleep in same bed but, we are not intimate ever since the miscarriage but, I want to fix that I need him, and I want to make it up to him".

Toby: "Whoah, I never thought things were that bad I'm sorry Cassie so, what are planning to do". I deeply sighed.

Me: "I do not know Toby but today I want to sleep in his arms and never letting go".

Toby: "Oh, I like that me and Gabe like that he is actually listening to this and smiling like an idiot just like I am so, go for it I know my friend he loves you he never wants to lose you so do what you can Cassie we support you". I smile.
